I was talking to an Arsenal season ticket holder the other day whose pro wenger. He told me how wenger is amongst the top coaches in the world and the media have it in for him because he aint arrogant but just an old humble guy so they pick on him knowing he wont fight back, unlike mourinho. He also goes the only reason they are doing poorly is because Arsenal dont have the players other teams have. He blamed the board for not funding it rather than on wenger. Finally he doesnt understand why players like Alexis sanchez would want to leave but again blames the media for trying to push him out, he ended it with that Alexis should be grateful for what Arsenal have given him. :lol: It was hard to keep a straight face knowing he's a director at where I work.

If CL is such a burden on the EPL clubs and it hurts their league form then why not just drop out all together? It would save them the embarrassment of going up against the real big clubs of Europe and we get to hear less of their bitching about schedule congestion.

It's not a surprise to read such comments. United fans tell me every day, how if they had been in CL they'd very easily be in semi or finals year in year out. Lol
