Has he played well in a big game all season? I can't think of one off the top of my head.

I'm not fecking around - every time there's a big build up he's just not up for it. He's a massive, well-built athlete and he gets bullied in these games for some reason. Then he makes it worse by not working hard to help his teammates either.

The worst player out there, he probably thinks he plays in midfield three, sub him off or tell him he needs to fecking defend, we can easily lose the game if he decides to wonder around the pitch like he did so far. I guess Carrick could fix it in the second half but he has also tendency not to show up in big games but we have no choice we need someone to partner Herrera if we want to win this today

Very poor today, should be taking hold of these games.

Phil Neville summed it up at the end today - Pogba talks the talk but Ibrahimovic walks the walk. Ibrahimovic talks himself up but then he goes out and matches it with his goals and performances. Today was the kind of day where Pogba needed to step up big time and be one of the best players on the pitch, in the way Zlatan did

diabolical performance, should of been hauled off in the first half.

This may ruffle a few feathers but I seriously doubt whether he is good enough for Man Utd.

On todays performance it is a definite NO, Mourinho new he played crap and gave him a mention at the end to either protect Pog from the press or to justify his £90m out lay.

No way would he get in Southamptons side based on this match never mind Real Madrids. Hence why they didnt buy him, even after he publicly stated he wanted to go to them.
My favorite one so far

Hope the posts saying he played well were sarcasm. Have yet to see a good big game performance from him, needs to bring more intensity to these games. He no longer has Pirlo, Marchisio and Vidal to do the heavy lifting in midfield for him and dine out on just those highlight reels.
They know the truth now :touched:

I think that comes from him having a physical edge over most players during his youth days, and the slower paced Serie A where he learned his trade.

At times, it's like he's shocked that the opposition dare to dispossess him. He tries to overuse his strength or showboat instead of playing a simple 10 yard pass and moving into space.

Also, he lacks bottle. He half heartedly closes down players and can be lazy to track a runner from midfield. You have to want to defend.

From a technical perspective, he's very gifted. But he's like the Nani of central midfielders at present; not knowing when to pass, shoot or lay it off.
Nani of CM's :touched:
