Told you guys. Hopefully Lallana and W arent out for too long. Was hoping we would stay in 4-3-3 and play Grujic but Klopp probably thought it was too soon.

Only a matter of time before Ings comes for Sturridge's spot.

IMO, Mourinho has been sh1t since his Madrid days. Hasn't done a thing worth telling with either Madrid, Chelski or United.

The EPL is also remarkably bad. Incredible how they spend the kinda of money they spend and the quality is still so low.

Madrid was a bunch of chokers and a gigantic barcelona complex

Mourinho came, and they suddenly reached the semi finals of the CL each season, got the layout of todays team, got back on even footing with barcelona, beat them to the title in Messi's best season even, and needed exceptional misfortune to not win the CL in 11-12.

he reduced the barca complex but didnt over turn it. Barca continued to get the better of his Madrid sometimes without even having a coach. Barca has Messi so thats a natural advantage, but then again barca had amateur coaches one of which was dying all season and they still did much better than Madrid. And if memory serves me right, the barca and bayern losses to chelsea are a lot more unlucky than madrid losing to bayern. He peaked at Inter where he did fantastic work and since then has been in steady decline.

My god, I don't watch the EPL that often but how is football over there so bad? Nobody can play a pass, it always gets intercepted, players don't know what positioning is. They just stand in the weirdest positions and their teammates try to pass them the ball.

I swear, some random Serie A defenders can pass the ball and transport it further up the pitch than these EPL teams.
If only they had lemina, hernanes and montolivo. Such passing masters

That has to be the worst chance conversion rate in the big 4 leagues, of players who have taken 20+ shots on the season. It's shockingly bad.
Truthfully he was similar with us, took ALOT of wayward shot attempts to get his goals. Difference is obviously everything else is not working for him due to incredibly poorly set up and badly coached team, and trying to find his position while dealing with the kind of pressure he cant handle because he is not a naturally adaptive player, makes the same kind of instinctive decisions no matter how badly it works.

That was always his most frustrating aspect going forward, his predisposition to tee up from distance all the time, especially considering how poor his long-range efforts were last year compared to years prior. Didn't pick his shots very wisely. But even so, I think he scored about 1 of 10-12 attempts on goal last year. 1 in 27, and 0 assists this season after this many matches is a nightmare, especially considering Mourinho seems to have given him free reign to go forward whenever he wants over the last several matches.

All the same, I can't see this lasting for him. He'll turn it around eventually.

People used to say the same about Balotelli. The dude even made the cover of Sports Illustrated
Are you seriously comparing Pogba with Balotelli? Latter's issue was never about playing in poor team and adjusting to mismatched situation as a player. He simply didn't give a fuck, complete moron who self destructed.

Pogba is suffering on footballing level, when he adjusts / Mourinho finds proper set up Pogba will start to be the top player he allways been. .

2014-15 obviously. Very strong Chelsea side especially at the beginning of the season. Part of it was Hazard, but it was a great team all around.

The overall quality of the EPL is shocking.
Hazard is exactly the type of player of why EPL is so shit these days. Almost like the Pogba of wingers.
