Jose only plays the 4-2-3-1, because he is stubborn. If he isn't playing as a CDM, there are only 3 other midfield positions, and two are wings. Thus, Jose has to test him as the CAM/TQ lol.

If the guy just adopted a 4-3-3, it would suit United so much better. Only playing 1 formation is so dogmatic and inflexible. That is why I think Allegri is a better coach. He can make effective tactical adjustments.
