Buffon
Zambrotta-Cannavaro-Nesta-Maldini
Mendieta-Zidane-Nedved
Del Piero-Ronaldo(Bra)-Ronaldo(Por)

Madly unbalanced. Rock solid Italian defence though.

My "emotional" team. Players that have affected me the most.

Schmeichel

Cafu - Nesta - Ferrara - Maldini

M. Laudrup - Deschamps - Zidane

Baggio - Shearer - Del Piero

Going through players of my football decade (94-04) makes me all emotional :touched:

When looking back I always find it odd how these players seem to have more character than the players of today. Perhaps it's because I was younger back then or perhaps it's because I've known them for so long now, but their personalities look so much more outspoken than Ronaldo or Messi for example.

I don't know if I look at it this way merely because of the passing of time or because it actually is the case.

Well, it's mainly because Ronaldo and Messi's personalities are kinda bland.

If you look at other players, the situation is completely different. You got Suarez, Pogba, Ibrahimovic,...and it's not like every player from the 90es was that memorable in terms of their personality.

Nope. One of the greatest of the 80s and 90s Michael Laudrup has the personality of a peanut: Bland and salty.
