I will take the side of the computer to someone who motiv-paint stuff on like Ice Hockey helmets and cars etc. And pay for a Juventus Logo on it ;)

Solid computer David! I don't have much to boast about considering I made my computer last year this time, but I really like your Zalman heatsink and your p/s looks tempting. I have been planning on "silenting" my system for some time now, considering my Athlon is running the stock heatsink and my P/S is some stock 300watter. As for your DFI, that is definately one sexy looking and working mobo. Have you considered using the seria ata? Your DFI has it and adding a WD Raptor for your OS partition would DEFINATELY compliment your systems expectations.

hehe yeah ;) I will buy a western Digital Raptor :D and some other S-atas. But ive never had one before. is it hard to install etc? And I wanna use RAID if it is good, but I dont know how.. Should I use Win XP on the raptor and use the other ones as backup? Will the files be transfered between the disks faster with S-Ata than with IDE?
thinking of 1x 36Gb WD Raptor
3x 250Gb S-Ata (not sure which, but not WD or Maxtor, cuz i heard Maxtor is loud and WD larger disks brokes easy..)

    on my wishlist:

    1. 19" 8ms monitor. Samsung, Hyundai, LG. Im not sure of which.
    2. WD Raptor, 2 or 3 S-Ata 200GB+ HDD's
    3. Ati Radeon x800XL or Geforce 6800GT
    4. Logitech MX518 - silver ;)
    5. Juventus-logo sprayed on the side of the comp case ;)

If you get a Raptor definately use it for your XP and program installations. That bad boy running at 10000rmp will have a bigger effect speeding up your OS than your data.

I have an exam tomorrow, but I'll give a short run through on SATA and RAID uses this weekend. If you do your shiit right, you can really do some neat stuff with RAID controllers.

My PC is extremely noisy! I guess that's my fan (a real vacuum cleaner).

Is foam a good solution? can't it melt or overheat the cpu?

That noisekiller stuff I have in my computer was a bundle with the ComputerCase. It cant melt or something like that. My computer is really cold inside ;) It is a very good solution I think
