Diego is a great talent, but he is a trequartista.
We would have to change our system to fit him in and one of our wingers would have to be benched.....

;)

above post was joke, those are words of CR..

however here are words from Jose

“Without [Dejan] Stankovic the team loses strength, intensity and power in midfield. "

Hm, some fans did not wanted him, so we had to move to someone else..

This coming also from Jose, who used 451 - 433 at chelsea

“We are more comfortable at the moment with the 4-4-2, as it gives us strength physically, tactically and psychologically.”

Because if anyone can tell us, I'm sure it is you.
oooo, pick me pick me!!

the juve core rules are, if she takes it in her mouth, make her swallow, anal is a bonus, and don't forget the black and white dildo with juventus logo, only then have you fullfilled the passion and core beliefs of the bianconeri

Was that the same year when Arsenal ended the season undefeated with a record 90 points and with a team much better than Chelsea's (judging by player's quality) ?
no arsenal only won the league and went the whole season unbeaten because RUINieri is a loser
and gifted them the league

If we wanna win anything in europe we need to play with a attacking midfielder......since Zidane left weve never filled that gap up. were too stale at times. Benitez has got balls and plays to win.
yeah because Manure played with a playmaker all last season:shifty:

What is the purpose of playing with a playmaker if the rest of your team isn't good enough to compliment him, like ours?? We are missing more than a playmaker in our team.

Well we could also spend 60-75 million a year on players like man utd does, but I don't see that happening either.

my point is that manure play with wingers(ronaldo, giggs, nani) a number10(rooney) and a forward with 2 deeper midfielders.

yet folk say you cant win anything with that formation

I agree with Ranieri on Diego, I actually agree with a lot of Ranieri's decisions but I still think he is loser and very inexperienced when it comes to challenging for the title. He has no clue how to win it, which is why he talks about voodoo  . Talking about the Scudetto results in Juve losing:( what kind of sane talk is that? He's too backward looking; looking to the past for answers to the future. History does't always repeat itself.

Apropos the playmaker hypothesis, I don't agree with it either.

Im talking about us here! since we got rid of Zidane and left that att midfield position opened and stuck 2 def mid instead of it weve have done asoloutely nothing in europe. Man Utd were lucky to get to the final and even luckier to beat chelsea after they struck the post and bar. what im saying is in europe we need to be a bit more expressing and not too predictable hoping that luck will favour us. when we played with zizou (ok i know zizou was world class) but i feared nobody and knew we would create a shed load of chances........these days were too predictable, get the ball down the wing oh Amauri's at the end of it again WITH A HEADER!!! we dont play like at the edge of the box like we used to, like Arsenal/Barca/Real. Also look how many man utd have in creativity in their midfield compared to our pack of defensive negatives.

compared to who ? because from an objective viewpoint he is not really inexperienced to challenge for a title .. (what place did chelsea achieve under him ? weren't they a challenger for the title?)

uh come on. there are many coaches that do speak exactly like that about the domestic titles and tell the media they do not want to jinx it. it's not as if ranieri is the only one that talks about the scudetto in this way...

@playmaker discussion:

how is it more predictable, when you have two danger men (nedved & camo), than having only ONE player that does run the game.

fact is a player (playmaker) that plays in the centre gets doubled more easily, than players on the sidelines. it is easier to escape opponents running on the sideline, becaues they can only come from one side (the centre of the pitch) as when playing in central positions there can be one that is right behind you, where you shield the ball from him another one comes from the front and that is way more difficult to escape... in bundesliga even smaller clubs did manage to shut down diego by doubling him for example.

.
really?? as far as I remember. Ranieri was :gsol: building a team:gsol: to challenge for the title with Abrahimovic's money. With a second place finish it was determined that the team was built and ready to challenge for the title which is when they got Mourinho and won it.
Same with Valencia the first time and the second time when the team was actually supposed to challenge for the title he bought Corradi and Di Viao and 'Ruined' the Valencia team built by Benitez.
