Indeed Rafa cannot be blamed for the lack of success. The new owners haven't fired the club in the right direction. The sad reality of the situation is that unless Rafa produces this season he may not get his contract extension. The club seems to be firing well as of now but it's a long season and we will have to see what happens.
i've seen 2 liverpool matches...2 lucky victories against boro and everton..and in the ucl..they beated amateur kids from psv..i donno, he will be free in summer thats for sure

I hate you.

You made vomit reach up to my troat just thinking about Benitez tarnishing my beloved Juve with his god awful vodoo he describes as football.
so let me guess, were you sick during the four years under Capello and Ranieri?

Wenger would be a dream come true...
The first thing Wenger will do is dropping all our over 30 players, i.e. our whole team

benitez ain't bad imo...everybody blames him for not gettin liverpool's beloved title..but it's hard with all that competition....greatest 2 arsenal years, abramovich and all his money, new born manchester. He didn't had a great team, and Gerrard can't do everything on his own. Still he did great in UCL
I think Rafa had/has a very powerful team, if he can't win with this squad I dont think he'll do miracle with ours

How apt you would mention that Lion, Benitez is a nice mix of those two, boring as fuck as Capello, and a total loser like Ranieri. Lacks the redeeming factor of winning back to back title like Capello (even though I still count stand him still), while retaining the flaws of him.

I do not want to endure what the poor Valencia fans did, which is have Ranieri AND Benitez as coaches after another.

Rijkaard is the only 1 available who has won anything. He has his critics, but u cant overlook back to back league championships and a CL title.

I know that was harsh in the general sense of the word, but they share the similar loser mentality despite Benitez being considerably more successful.

He won with Valencia and started out well with them, but IMO it was mainly due to incredibly strong squad they had (similar to how Rijkaard winning with Barca is mainly due to their insane squad then due to his genius, or how Mancini didnt need to bring out the magic wand to stroll to his Inter wins), have allways been frustrated with his tactics and his flaws has been obvious since day one, winning or losing.

ATM rather him than ranieri, but how would he cope with limited resources?

No man, there is a huge difference between those two. Ranieri is nowhere near Benitez

agree with you in a part of Raijkaard and Barca, but as of Benitez's Valencia, it's a different situation as Valencia was not that strong and full of stars as Raijkaard's Barca was and Ranieri had almost the same squad after Benitez? so what did he do? he started losing points almost in every match and as a result was kicked out of the team. Not even mentioning Benitez's CL history and his triuph, I don't see any similarities between these two coaches they are opposite of each other.

Say what you will, but his team was down and out to the score of 3-0 against a better team in AC Milan, yet they still won. Benitez made the right moves to change the team and must have provided the support they needed for the comeback. That requires quite a lot of ability on the part of the manager.

If Ranieri was managing that team, he'd probably cry in front of the squad during halftime and peed his pants during the long flight home after the 6-0 result.

They did beat Manchester United fairly handily and it's a bit of a stretch to call the Everton victory lucky. The point is, right now Liverpool are winning so it's really no point to speculate now.

realistically speaking (guys who are unemployed), these would be my order of picks-

Riijkard
Gentile
Cosmi
Mancini

I dont think this ridiculous board will get rid of RUINeri, even if we finish 7th, like I predicted back in August
