I'm not so sure I'll need that much space. Burke has the 80 and he says he has enough space, and I don't think I'd even put as much stuff on there. I use my Mac for much of that stuff.

80GB is defenitely enough. I know a dude who has 160, and he barely uses 30, so bit moot, the size.

And I will be getting Uncharted 2 soon.

I just don't see a point in putting music files on there. Movie files would be nice, of course, then again all my favorites I already have. But photos? What for? That's what Macs are for.

I only have movies on there, I have no music on there, and only like 20 pics that I use for backgrounds.

my friends and i all use our PS3s as a media hub. so 80GB isn't enough so i have a 320GB ext HD connected which works great on with my PS3 and completes the link on my network.

you can replace the hardrive on the PS3 with a bigger one if you run out of space.

Or like Dru you can use an external hard drive.

another thing you can do is enable file sharing on your lap top/PC wifi and use the PS3 wifi to play your movies/songs/pics on your PS3 and hi def screen

How do you have it connected, and what all do you have on both of them?

Yea, I've already done that with a middle-man program, but it's not as fast.

Wow, didnt know this, use this for the PCs/Laptops, but no idea it could be the same for PS3.

I'm bad with technical stuff, example, it took me like 6 months to finally realize how to fix wireless connection to my PS3, didnt know it was a simple click in setting. Didnt experiment, and took my brother words for it when he said it was a router problem (instead of just changing the setting to wireless connection).
