look around and see if you can find some of the older 80 GB ones left since they are a bit cheaper. usually they are bundeled with decent/good games because the stores want to get rid of them. Even if you don't like the games, you can always sell/trade them in for other games.

MAG needs to be good though. For now it's all about Modern Warfare 2. I got my pre order today. will get Uncharted 2 and either Demon's soul or Borderlands soon.

I dont know how much they go for in the states, but here in Canda some of the stores sell them for 30-40 dollars cheaper, or they sell them for same rice as 120 GB, but include a few games and/or blu ray movies in.

even without the games, 40 buks saved is still 40 bucks saved

if you have some games for other systems lying around and you don't play them/can;t sell them, take them to a store that accpets trade ins (blockbuster, EB, Gamestop) and get some credit. Stores like EB and Gamestop do deals where if you trade a certain amoutn of games you get a console for 199, or free depending on the prmotion they have going. Check them out.

also look for open box items at store like Best buy. The usually take off another 20 or so bucks.

You're right. Another site from the States was saying $40 max, in the current month.

If I can get around $40 for the console and all the games I've got, that wouldn't be bad at all. That would bring the total down closer to $20.

That's what I'll do. 20 bucks is worth more to me that 40 GB. Think I'll head down to H-town after heading into work tomorrow.

I'm not sure if I have any games, but I know I have a controller and a headset which might get you about another 20 off.

I just noticed I have an unopened FIFA 08. Too bad I can't find the disks to three other games. But I've got a total of 8 games, four of which they probably wouldn't take. Two controllers. Might get 40 if I'm lucky.
