You can't dude. Blu Ray doesn't allow for that.

Besides, the new PS3 slim doesn't allow for a different OS, such as Linux, like the old PS3's do

That and PS2 ones. Ive heard they are releasing a HD version of the God of War series for ex. It would be a rip off, if i had to re-buy them!
I m not sure how exactly it works, but ive heard that at some times, some versions of PS3 could play PS2 games, but the latest cant and most probably never will be! That would be a shame...

But to answer your question Cronios, you cannot burn a PS3 game and play it. Sony doesn't allow it. In fact, in one of the firmware updates, they tightened the security even more. If someone, somehow, is able to do it, the PS3 will automatically detect it and ban your username and IP address permanently.

The 1st generation PS3's had full Backwards Compatibility. The 2nd Generation 80GB models had them too, albeit through software emulation, whereas the 1st generation models had the PS2 architecture built in.


There are rumors that there will be a firmware upgrade that will allow software emulation again, but they are not confirmed.

Very enjoyable game, despite it's many obvious flaws (graphics, frame rates, glitches, ...).

That's another one of those very flawed games that I really enjoy for some reason.
