well, i dont mind that but i would like miccoli and maresca to be added to that list. as for the others, i'm not too concerned with. but as most would agree, we dont want one season wonders to replace the likes of trez, nedved etc...

read carefully...Moggi is saying that he is ready to listen for offers ecluding DP, gigi and Zambro. That dosent means he is planning a mass exodus of players...as a matter of fact, Juve policy as been never to have untochable players...im surprised he is now making it with the three players mentioned..

i'm not sayin that there IS goin to be a mass exodus, i'm jus sayin wat if there was... would it be a good move... would the team integrate and be a unit as they once were that season they last won the championship? or is it just a case where they just had a bad season and maybe they jus need to release a few ppl and strengthen their team...

personally this is wat i think should happen.....i'm no master tactician but here's my views....

in the front line.... get rid of trezegol, use that funds and snap up cavenaghi and gillardino... juve has enough strikers to keep them goin thru the season if Del P gets injured as he did this season (man we all saw how much juve need him. it will be tough to see who will start with del p though lol (di vaio, miccoli, cave, gillardino)

midfield, damn getting rid of davids was a mistake, the midfield was poor this season in my opinion, we need somebody like him... that workhorse in the centre of the park, players like makalele and geremi come to mind but i think they should bring blasi back to juve and sign Rothen from as monaco...i dunno who they could sign as a "pitbull in the centre" (let's kidnap rino gattuso!! lol)

and lastly defence.. my oh my, legrotagllie... so much promised he displayed when he was at chievo verona...twas it a jittery season for him..i like mexes and bonera in the back there partnering thuram and zambo... but then there is talk of lucio comin to juve....

goal keeper.. gigi, gigi , gigi, nothing more to say
so next season juve need to play a bit more attacking, get rid of the coach lippi and bring a more exciting coach (didier? prandelli?)
stick to a 4-3-1-2

so my starters for next season would be.. (championship manager style..lol)
gigi in goal
RB-thuram
RCB - mexes
LCB - lucio
LB - zambrotta
CM - camoranesi
CM - Maresca(i'd like to see a player similar to Davids here though)
CM - Rothen
AM - Nedved
FC - Del P
FC - Di Vaio

of course the position Di Vaio is playin could be taken over by the better of either miccoli, cave or gillardino, but i jus like di vaio i think he is so cool.....

bench appiah, blasi and the rest, bench tudor, birindelli, pessotto and the rest and also get a decent reserve keeper (though chimenti did carry juve thru the coppa italia

I agree! The point is, that back than, we already had signed Buffon, where very close to Thuram and Trezeguet was already better than Trez.
I wouldn't sell all the stars. I would sell only Trezeguet!
AND...back than, the clubs spent more for players. Today, only Real and Chelsea spend!

Well, your version is a bit expensive taquin.

Here is mine:
Get rid of Iuliano, Montero and Pessotto! Their time is up. Get Trabelsi, Mexes and Bonera.
Don't sell any midfielder, just get Kapo and sign either Fiore or Van der Vaart. Blasi should come from loan.
Gilardino and maybe even Sculli, who impressed me a few times, should come in attack.
Since Prandelli seems to become our new coach, this is my formation:

Trabesli-----Thuram---Mexes-----Zambrotta
---------Tacchinardi---Fiore-----------------
-----Maresca-----Nedved------Del Piero----
------------------Gilardino--------------------

Looks damn good IMO, and we have 7 italians in the start formation!

Yepp the formation is great, especially with Gilardino alone as a hitman on top, and with those great players behind him, it smells a lot of goals

Well I thought that Fiore and Tacchinardi controll the ball better than Appiah and Tacchi! Fiore could bring great passes from behind! Something like a Pirlo with more agression! Fiore would be my choice!

nice formation, but it has 5 natural atackers .too agressive and the problems we had this season were different, we need to focus our money on solving the defensive situation.
This season we are making enough goals,the problem is receiving too much.
