most complete LB in serie B this season imo. Pisa has a buy option on him, but Juve has a buy back. If Pisa exercise it I would definitely buy him back and loan him to a serie A side. Then he can come to Juve once Sandro/MDS expire.
They both expired, unless you're talking about the actual expiration dates of their respective contracts.

It hasn’t expired, Corrado (Pisa president) said they want to exercise their buy option like a month ago. After that Juve has a counter buy, which they absolutely should exercise.

edit: oh you’re talking about Sandro and MDS? Yeah well looks like we’re stuck with Sandro for one more season and every report suggests they will extend MDS

Berlusconi did the impossible with Monza and reached the Serie A for the first time in Monza's history. A historic win 4-3 win against Claudio Chiellini's Pisa. Beruatto and Mota (ex-U23, Monza) with both two assists. Marrone scored a decisive goal for Monza, while Birindelli (son of) and Lorenzo Lucca didnt impress for Pisa.

Somehow by accident a saw this battle full with sentiment and passion, Pisa hasnt been in Serie A for 31 years either.

The club was founded in 1912 as Monza F.B.C. and on multiple occasions in the 1960s and 1970s came close to promotion to the Serie A. Following Silvio Berlusconi's 2018 takeover of the club, Monza returned to the Serie B in 2020 after a 19-year absence, and came close to Serie A promotion in 2021. Monza have won the Coppa Italia Serie C four times, the most of any club as of 2022. They have also won four Serie C championships and an Anglo-Italian Cup. The club has never reached the Serie A and has competed in 40 Serie B seasons as of the 2021–22 season, the most of any Italian club without ever achieving promotion to the first division.[1]

Yeah it's a nothing club historically but I think we all knew eventually with Berlu behind them they were going to get to Serie A. B is such an impoverished league, it's not like trying to get out of the Championship. Their budget is only rivalled by Parma in Serie B, but the gialloblu have shown how easy it is to get it wrong.

What Cremonese have done seems more impressive to me, they have identified and leaned on young loanees for sure, but gelling them into a team takes some work.

Does he now? He's nowhere near the top performing strikers of Serie B..

Was joking with him because he scored alot with Pescara back in the day. And is prolly one of the more "recognisable players in Serie B. But checking the numbers, he is 3 goals off the 2nd guy and couple others with nearly half their playing times.

This is even worse, since Massimo Coda won top scorer in Serie B. By far one of the most limited strikers I ever seen in Serie A.

The difference in quality between Serie B and A is so huge its ridiculous. Mainly because the clubs are so damn insanely broke to retain or cultivate any real quality in their teams (compared to say a championship team who can legit buy international players). Monza goes up with just mere above average funding. Parma only one that could rival their budget, and they were absolutely mismanaged. Rest survive on loans from Serie A loans (Cremonense have done that really well this past season) or journeymen lifers of B level.
