So, went shooting some pictures today.

Packed my stuff.
Sat on the Ebike.
Drove an hour.
Snapped some pics.
Spotted a nice tree in the middle of the lake
Open bag to switch lenses.
Grab 135mm lens.
Searches for adapter.
Adapter still at home.
Only able to use the 25mm i had already on.

if i had zero gear and wanted something new and compact, i'd certainly consider the x-e4 and the new little xf 27mm pancake. camera body looks awesome, finally has a tilt screen (not sure whether @DAiDEViL misses it from the x-e1; i love it on the x-m1), same sensor and af as the x-t4, and plenty of film sims. the pancake got a face lift too: same optics (which is good news, it always was excellent), added aperture ring and weather resistance. and probably new af system too (to be confirmed)

there's a new, midrange tele too (https://jonasraskphotography.com/2021/01/27/the-xf70-300mm-f-4-5-6r-lm-ois-wr-not-a-review/), but the new little body + lens are more exciting. jonas is an excellent photographer, so the pics look nice on their own, no need to geek out over the new stuff. :p

and there's a new medium format body too: https://jonasraskphotography.com/2021/01/27/the-xf70-300mm-f-4-5-6r-lm-ois-wr-not-a-review/ as expected, costs a fortune though

Not buying - because it has a flippy screen!

Looks still very much like my ol' XE1. Very nice :)

...Speaking of lenses...on the fence of getting a 18-135, simply for how versatile it is.

some hungarian users love it, some sold it because "it wasn't sharp enough"... it comes across to me as a good travel lens either way.

    btw did you see this?

quoting jonas again, but he's the one to follow for these x-system reviews. some local guys bought it and said that it was excellent, both optically and handling wise. not sure i want a 50mm on aps-c though

cringe, but at least a company that doesn't take itself too seriously:

I thought taking pictures in Christiania wasn't allowed? You sneaky bastard.

Thoughts on which one I should get if I make it a year of actively using my camera with the kit lens?

    Zeiss 17-70mm
    Sigma 17-70mm
    Tamron 17-70mm

Nice, have to visit also Christiana. I heard you can smoke Ganja everywhere and also other drugs is very possible...

Here is a picture which i took last week, when i was hiking around
Other drugs are pretty frowned upon at Chrisitania, but if you like to smoke a spliff and have a beer it's great.
