Take a look around the third choice CBs at some of Europe's top clubs.

Would Mexes/Bonucci really look out of place among them?

I read somewhere that Barca are sending Chigryinsky (is that correct? hope so, was a first try :xfinger:) back to Shakhtar for 15M...worth a try?

Can we compare them to Alex of Chelsea, Milito of Barça, Cordoba of Inter or Brown of Man Utd?
The point is that I don't think Juve would appear to be over stocked with quality CBs compared to the clubs they have ambitions of beating, if they signed Mexes.

Not for 15m

Can't say, I haven't seen enough of Bonucci to really rate him yet and I'm pretty sure that most of you haven't either.

I agree, obviously. I don't see how we could be over stocked on quality at this point, it would be a miracle to have Chiellini/Bonucci/Mexes/Legrottaglie to choose from since last season.

That's funny, why is he a CB then?
No idea.

He would appear, on the face of it, to be far more suited to playing in front of the defence, where he could use his passing range but not have defensive inadequacies exposed so much.
