I do not support the Iraq war and I don't think Bush should be the president. He's not an evil guy like some people say he is, but he has no business running a country. Whoever wrote that article didnt just invent those statements (neither the fact of Greenspan, the worshiped guru, saying that in his book). Wolfowitz made those statements because its not an uncomfortable truth anymore, no one buys the propoganda and there is no reason for them to hide the obvious anymore because Bush's term is up, and they have already robbed Iraq (you naively seem to think them getting all the oil mean cheaper prizes for the public, no, it means 200bn more for Haliburton&co).

Wolfowitz is not just another right winger, he was and is in parts the man behind the curtain. The big kahuna hawk who is labled the puppeteer to his jolly good happy puppet, Bush. He has been the main policy maker and the chief adviser, they discuss what to do, and then basically its a foregone conclusion that Bush will listen to them without question.


So when this guy, who has been busy with damage controll and spin, says this, then you cant really doubt it whatsoever.

Using Liberal as some sort of negative adjective needs to stop. Moreover, you were the one who came in here saying what I posted was concocted false stories, which is not true because Greenspan has said it several times on television.

People need to get over the fact that the Iraq war is primarily about oil, because it is. Not only do you need to get that into your mind, but you also have to get a little geography in your mind before you can even begin to understand what's going on in the world. Don't fucking tell me geography doesn't matter.

It's pretty obvious Iraq is all about oil. Throwing in the comments by all these government figures proves the matter.
