No, I was being sarcastic. If Claire doesn't have to follow the same rules as the rest the forum would go down within a month. Either change the rules for everyone or don't. It's like Animal Farm: All animals are equal, but some are more equal then others.

If we appoint a moderator we will have to trust on their judgement for closing threads and banning members. It doesn't work if you give a moderator the right to ban members, but give any other member the right to un-ban them.
I thought mods would be supposed to discuss etc before banning. The only problem here is that Mikhail just banned her immediately because she bad mouthed him. It's a free speach thing but I can't be arsed :D But yeah in the whole scheme of things she can hardly feel hard done by considering the chances she was given/took herself. Whatever, it was fun atleast :D

See this is problem. This isn't and shouldn't be my problem. Anytime I want to make a post I should be able to without you assuming there is more to it. Kaiser Franco made this thread. I ask him what is the difference in him and I? Is it because I happen to be the same age and nationality? Fact of the matter is Kaiser probably knows them better. I'm just getting tired of this.
Jaecole, I've been catching up on the forums a bit. It seems that Claire aka Fecal Matter aka whatever has been nothing but provocative in her time here.

This is a football forum. Its intention is to focus on football while off-topic issues exist on a smaller, minimal scale. Unfortunately, with all kinds of new fools coming in, this place has degraded to the point where people log on to Juventuz to fulfill their social needs and dysfunctional obsessions.

The only reason Claire was allowed back was because of the cozy little "social family" that has overtaken Juventuz.com like a virus, where people are more interested in gaining attention, and causing controversy.

This shit does not belong here. Does anyone remember the problems people had with Buffon online while they were based on Juventuz? Thats right. 10,000 post members who couldnt manage 50 posts about football. A huge horde of girls, all Buffon fans, socialising in 10,000 post threads like swarms.

Buffon online became bigger than Juventuz itself. The girls were nice people, but there was chaos- a huge division between Buffon Online and the rest of Juventuz. And Buffon Online had to be taken off Juventuz and managed independently by Steen, who afaik is doing a good job.

Buffon Online had to go because it took away from the vision of Juventuz.com. Its vision was something else. I see Juventuz's vision as a football community where people congregate to discuss Juventus. Off topic areas exist for socialising, but with the priority kept on football.

Thats whats happening here. But the problem is that its not easy to separate Juventuz.com's football side from Juventuz.com's social entertainment side, so nothing drastic has been done about it yet.

I post regularly at an Ajax forum. They banned a character after his first post dissing Ajax. Sound harsh? It isnt. That place was a real football forums. No nonsense, no bullshit, all football. No classless flirting, no fake members, no dual accounts, no attention starved visitors, no drama-queens, no wannabes, no nothing that wasnt somehow connected with Ajax.

Now that was a real football community.

Just football.

Good point. If you see which members have been the most active for a long period of time, it's Andy, Gray, Lilianna and the likes. If you're not interested in Juventus you won't last here for very long. Nicole has been one of the most active members lately, but you can see some people are getting annoyed with her for constantly posting off-topic. This is a Juventus forum, and there's a small piece for off-topic.

What Ajax forum was that btw? Ajax Netwerk?

My point was that every single time she says exactly the same thing and then allways comes back... why is this time any different
Independent of Claire, the core question here seems to be what is the policy here towards "sociopaths." People with ill will and ill effects -- consumed with a sort of personal bile, who, for no understandable motive by a more reasonable person, picks fights with others regularly and yet, despite universally unpleasant outcomes, comes back here for more of the same repeatedly.

Most social structures are founded on the notion that the majority will act in a rational manner. This is why societies leave an openness to things like murders and terrorist bombings. If you chucked 'mere' morals aside for a moment, anyone here has pretty much the access to readily harm or kill anyone else without a Pablo Escobar-sized body guard detail. By and large, a maddened public could easily overthrow any civil controls at will, but they don't. So while it's a surprise why perhaps more people aren't killing each other on streets and in cars on freeways -- looked upon as a whole, it's not so surprising that it's far more the exception than the rule because of a sort of rational concensus.

But when social structures are confronted by the seemingly irrational, the necessary actions are unclear. The majority can no longer safely presume that the person is question has similar motivations, will react predictably to common incentives and disincentives, etc. But as adams' old avatar would tell you, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. Unconventional people require unconventional interventions.

I personally have nothing against Claire. I've butted heads with several people on this forum in the past. But her actions here seem to indicate that she comes from a place we don't know and would probably never understand. Call it a cry for help, a deeply wounded soul that has an unsatisfied need to lash out ... who knows. It's not our place to ask. The only thing we can judge are acceptable rules of conduct we expect as a courtesy to each other... but that must also include what we reasonably expect from "good" forum members on their nastiest and most apologetic of days.

What I find hard to understand, is why people still like her. People she has argued with I mean, they like her and like her a great deal. Is it a simple case of lack of sex?:D

perfectly stated, swag. I've always found your posts very knowledgeable and eloquent.

To sum it up simply, the foundation of civilised society, and indeed the point at which Claire's mind seems to break down is the golden rule.

I have nothing against her, but her problems should not be used as entertainment. Laughing at her antics is as malicious as her words are themselves.

Good question, Jae. It does seem odd on the surface.

I don't think it's inconsistent to like someone eventhough you can have some drag-out arguments and disagreements with them. The divorce rate in this world would be closer to 96% if that weren't the case.

But there has to be a point where you can agree to disagree. Otherwise, without at least some modicum of respect, you have to wonder if the person is either a masochist, has no self esteem, or maybe hasn't been laid in a couple of years. ;)

What makes you think you know her enough to judge her? You have never even been around during her time right? Though I haven't seen her break down once. She's just a bored girl who argued with a cop on a forum. Nothing more I don't think, just some teen angst.

But Jae, anyone who posts a single character or smilie on this forum is submitting themselves up for public judging. It's sort of an implicit rule, actually.

Of course. But from someone who missed the entire thing. The Blandest, Turdhead, Negative Creep and Fecal Matter, I wouldn't think he would know much at all to judge her. She seemed a really good member until she was banned first time. She posted on topic and was quite widely respected from an on topic perspective. You don't just come in a judge someone on Fecal Matter. Right?

Like I mentioned before, I'll repeat myself for you in case you missed it- I've been reading up on what I missed. I saw what happened when Fecal Matter attacked mikhail.

Funny that jaecole proceeded to criticise mikhail's actions, but didnt say anything about fecal matter's unprovoked attack.

Im not one to judge, but its universally accepted that Claire's behavior toward people are wrong. Do you disagree? Or do you think all of her previous accounts were unfairly banned, she's an angel who did nothing wrong, and became a victim to unfair policies and biased moderation?

As for people liking her, Kaiser Franco does apparently, as does Nicole. Nightmare on Elm Street was a great movie, very entertaining to watch, but I wouldnt catch myself going out for coffee with Freddy, or praising his personality.

Am I wrong to say you are biased in your support for her and her actions?
