FIFA manager sucks balls

---------- Post added 02.06.2012 at 03:48 ----------

Football manager is a lot more realistic and much more about the actual football I.e. players, tactics, youth etc instead of other stuff like increasing assets (new buildings for income etc)

FIFA indeed used to be a horrible game, but they've improved now for a couple of years, especially since new dev team (which were previously Konami employees) took over.
Main problems with FIFA like Identical goals, sweet spots for shooting... are still there tho.
I hate that they only make Messi and C. Ronaldo to look like themselves, while all the other players look like some slimy orcs.

fifa manager is the sucky one then. I don't play FM series much tho. It's pretty fun but also takes up alot of your time.

When was the last time you played FIFA? :p
nah I'm not a fan of player models in FIFA myself, but they've improved players' likeness

    can't wait for the demo.

O lost all hope to this series, unless its a total remake, which appears not to be the case again...
The controls are revamped every year, they seem highly improved in the first demos, but somehow end up sucking really really bad in the final versions...
In the last 3 years PES is gradually becoming worse by the year, in this state FIFA plays exactly as PES was and PES plays worse than PES was.
The common factor is frustration in both of the edition and the competition lies on which is less frusrating, the clumsy control of the current PES and the many stupid elements that they have adopted, plus the decade old some bugs (with defenders still not trying to intercept the ball when they are between the ball and the player they mark)

However not all is lost, surprisingly, i had the fan of the decade on footie sims with FIFA 2012 for the PS VITA, it reminds old time PES and it is very satisfying to play, with some manager elements to sweeten the deal and the license for the names one cannot patch in a console, making it the complete package. (as i spend more time in the hospital, rather then home, those 10min of VITA football are really refreshing)

I wonder if the PES 2013 will hit the VITA this time, when i have no expectations, i tend to get pleasant surprises...

I bet Cronios deletes all the Italian players in Edit mode.
nah i keep it realistic, i even sign mediocre Italian players for Juve and use them as starters, for the handicap they offer.
I bet i have more Italian starters in my Juve than of the Juventini in here (who have already signed Higuains, Dzekos, Jovetic, Vidic and the likes)
