PES is back, you heard it many times, but this time around its true!
Good for the gamers, as of lately Konami fell back from the competition.

Fucking hate Konami's guts and their PES team since this console generation. Fuck up after fuck up (made shooting their own foot an art form), its not enough to take out modes from previous game for no reason and say nothing for every game, but two datapacks update they made so far both made mine and lots of others consoles crash nonstop (would think first datapack should been enough to learn their mistake?), then they "fix" it a day later, today, re-download it, and oh, the summer transfer updates they were gonna do? Oh its just adding 500+ players (which they should have had from the get go) on a single section of free agents. Not actually updating shit and putting them into their teams. Kicker is updating from them defaulted all the edits I did myself with transfers, and erased the OF I downloaded to polish up their game from the mess it was (back to playing northeast london vs random other shit name with shitty shirts, until dl a compatible OF...).

Oh yeah, don't download DP2 yet, it is full of bugs....did I not mentioned that earlier? :shifty:

Problem with Konami is that they try to do difficult things and ignore the basics.

And Osman, why are you doing editing before the data packs? :D

Konami are truly a fucking backwards company. Sucks they make my two fav series when they fail in so many simple and pathetic ways.

DP2 is already out on PS3 (I think also on PC), been delayed on Xbox because of compatibility issues. I'm waiting for it to come out so a V3 OF comes out and I can finally play the game properly.

You have to be careful with the data packs and option files, because any data packs with official transfers in them (like DP2) will mess up option files created before it.

I've been using Daymos' V1.5 OF that is compatible with DP1 for the last few weeks, but I'm waiting for V3 that is compatible with DP2 before I really do what I want with the game. Then we will be ok until February when they update the transfers again.

That's my plan too. This waiting is pretty frustrating though. :moan:

I'm playing BAL :D

Pretty frustrating playing on Superstar level, though. My player was 58 to start with and is now 65 in the second season aged 18, which is better than all of the midfield players in this shitty fake league team I'm playing for, but the coach still won't start me in league games even if I get 7-7.5 rating. So you have to sit through games (at 2.0 speed of course) and then do something in 45 or 25 minutes with an average skilled player.

I'm trying to get a transfer to Sport Club do Recife in Brazil, but I think it'll be the same thing until the guy gets over 70 and I can get more goals and assists.

The same thing happened to me when I started as an AM. The idiotic coach would play me at LM, and even if I did well, I'd be benched for the next game. Couldn't even get a transfer to a club with high playing chance. Ended up starting a new game as a CM, and everything went smoothly. Moved to Juve at 21 with my rating at about 86.

Then, I got FIFA and it's been SO MUCH BETTER overall.

Yeah that's what I am, an AM being used on the left. Or CM, or RB :D

I have FIFA but thing it's too easy to play. If I was into Ultimate Team I'd probably play it all the time, but I'm not.

Comparing the BAL/BAP modes of FIFA and PES from 2 years ago, FIFA has made lot of progress compared to PES. BAL on PES was great on 2011. In 2012, they removed many options, including the option to learn a new position. They added the player agent thing, but it became too intrusive and annoying. In 2013, the retraining is back, but it hardly make a difference.

But FIFA fixed lot of the flaws I saw in the same mode. I really enjoy playing it right now, and I doubt I'll go back to PES.

Downloaded a WENB patch that's compatible with DP 2.0, added much awaited Bundesliga to my game, plus Anzhi and Bate for CL. Also championship teams...
