Porto’s Brazilian defender Pepe has admitted that he is flattered by the interest being shown in him by Juventus.
The 24-year-old, whose full name is Kleper Laveran Lima Ferreira, has offered impressive performances with the Dragons this season, catching the eye of scouts from several top sides.
“It is logical that I would like to play in a more prestigious championship,” said Pepe, who is equally at home playing as a central defender or as a right-back.
“I am glad to know that other outfits are interested in my services, that must mean that I am doing well,” added the ex-Corinthians stopper.
“I am very serene and only God knows what my future will be. First of all, I want to give my all for Porto, then I might join an important club like Juventus, Barcelona or Real Madrid.
“In any case, I would be willing to stay here for another season as well,” concluded Pepe.
The defender, who joined Porto in 2004 as a replacement for Ricardo Carvalho, is contracted to the club until 2009 and is valued at a massive £14m by the Portuguese giants.

I think along with andrade he is the best on the market but andrade is going to Barca or whatever
Pepe is better than barzagli i'd say but whats stoping us from getting both. They would be a certainty of success .. it would be woth the price

That price tag of 14 mil. pounds is way tooo high. We can get him for 12-13 mil. euros if Real or someother merdas doesn't start chasing him, in that case we would have to give loads of money so we can overcome the proposal from the other team & still the other club will be more attractive side!(NOT in the case of Inter)
