we lost despite him getting on the scoresheet. a loss is a loss no matter who it is and today it was proven that cagliari was the better team. pavel may have scored but he didn't play good at all.

Pavel played really well tonight and scored a great goal - his 4th of the season. :weee:

Pavel was a real leader on the pitch tonight unlike Delpiero who had a bad game.

Sadly Pavel cannot do everything for the team so it is time that our defence, Del piero, Amauri and Buffon start performing again.

are you serious??

once again, pavel gets on the scoreboard and the fanboys come flocking preaching his greatness

if pavel hadn't scored then what other contribution did he make??

just like every other match he plays in for the past 2 seasons, all he does is slow down the attack and attempts horrid shots on goal and wayward crosses which wastes chances

That's why Pavel scored tonight then.
Goals wins games and if we had defended well in the 2nd half then Pavel's gol would have been the winner.

Well at least he showed up for the game. Nice gesture with the badge. Pavel is getting old and finding a good replacement should be a priority.

In all honesty Pavel had a slightly better game today compared to his horrible performances lately.Still, apart from the goal he didn't do anything particular.

I don't take this "Grande Pavel" guy serious anyway,he always says Nedved was greatness,no matter how shitty he was in reality.

Completely agree; love the player, but enough is enough. He buried from the six yard box, on an opportunity that was basically laid out on a silver platter. Get over it fanboys.

We all know that Pavel still has a brilliant flash here and there, but he is certainly not effective enough to play such heavy minutes - he disappears for huge periods of the game, can't take on defenders, and his shots are, for the most part, repugnant momentum killers.

Unfortunately, when Del Piero has to come ALL the way back to collect the ball, it drastically limits our effectiveness going forward (Especially Amauri's - it's hard to combine with the support striker when he's basically forced to drop behind our central mids to collect the ball).

We have got NOTHING on the flanks right now, and it's killing us. Marchionni, Nedved, Grygera/Mellberg, and Molinaro should all basically be second choice in a team of Juventus' stature. Of course, many of us have been saying this for 2 seasons or so...

We have a couple great target men, and no one to cross the ball to them. I always had an uneasy sense that our success in the first half would blind our management to what are actually pressing needs. Remember after the first rough stretch, when Blanc and Cobolli were saying that they would definitely enter the winter market for a player or two? Fucking hell, could we ever use another first choice Full Back, and a replacement for Pavel...

He also hopes that next season Nedved plays as Juve's captain.

To be honest that goal shouldn't even count, cause the ball went out of the pitch before Molinaro controlled it.
i don't think it did
