he didn't say anything, just his usual bullshit. that's what he always says. "interesting profile, evaluating options, market opportunities, respect to our current players" are phrases that beppe said a thousand times. the only player he never said anything about befor signing him was higuain: there were no leaks at all.
He clearly said he will try, but that he's ambivalent whether he gets him or not. It was clearly a prepared answer.

I'm so confused, the above contradicts other sites.

Anyway, I really don't want him playing for Argentina. Please just stay home and focus on us.

Lets give him the same salary as now or a little (as i read the management will offer -15%)
But give Dybala lump sump performance bonuses so the number can reach 10m as that is the number that he wants (so he need to perform first to get that money) > Salary 6.5m + UCL winner 2m + Serie A 1m +coppa 500k

That will be the most logical solution to bridge and make everyone happy

My guess would be its difficult to make an offer where a significant amount of the contract is performance related to someone like Dybala who can just wait out his contract and get much bigger (non performance depedent) contract elsewhere

I think so too, but that will show how much he love Juve in the first place. Even Del Piero is okay to sign on a blank contract
This would never to go to this case if he just put his signature in their earlier negotiation when everything nearly conclude

He is never going to accept that, too many performance based bonuses, and given our current state he knows we won’t win at least 2 of them in the short term..

Where 'tho? I see little top teams who will pay this 10m and where he can be an undisputed starter.

That's a romantic idea of football that almost doesn't exist these days.

Give the guy the money. Whether he fully deservers a raise or not, is a secondary matter. We need him and we'd probably end up spending more on a player of his caliber.

Inter will open him with open arms

And I see Barca, Real and PSG trying aswel
He can ride the bench at Real and PSG.

Barca? Maybe but aren't they playing 4-3-3 again with Xavi? So difficult to imagine...

And Marotta is not paying him 10 million. Their highest earner, Sanchez, is on 7 mil. Their highest paid starter, Lautaro, is at 6 mil.

I think many clubs will try man he agreed 8+2m and is for free in his prime years

He's already injured like a madman at 28, not decisive in the biggest CL games and he wants a contract for 10 mil / season until he's 33... You know he won't be worth it at the end. Three years is more than enough at that price.
