Percentages are probably not that accurate however for me if he leaves I know if we bring in a player like vlahovic we can replace dybalas goals....but for me it is the creativity that dybala brings which can't be replaced easily. That's my concern.

You can only go so far with those hard-working players, you need some creative players that can change the game even if they're somewhat unreliable like how a fit Costa was unplayable for us at times. Hyperbole much? Injured 80% of the time? Come on man. You're beginning to sound like the haters. I am all for selling Dybala, if quality reinforcements are brought in. That's a big IF. Selling Dybala to free up wages for Romagnoli and Scamacca is not progress or moving forward. That is regression.

If you free up Dybala's wages and bring in Vlahovic on 5 million and another quality winger, then so be it.

However, as things stand, the more logical thing to do in a rebuilding phase is to sell the guy who is most likely to leave and bring you the most money.

If our board and management have already agreed to give him 7-8 million and then go back on their offer/renege their offer, this is definitely not a good look for the club. Relying on a broken forward for creativity is a problem to begin with. We need creative MIDFIELDERS.
Creativity is a bonus for a forward, not a requirement, a forward is required to be available 24/7 and to finish chances. Get Vlahovic and a proper playmaker! Dybala is not a playmaker.

You make it sound like every striker has to have the same skill set. Every striker has different qualities that fit in the team. Dybala should add some link up play to the team if hes going to be a top striker.
