* Dybala is our best striker
* Dybala is one of the very few creative players that we have in this squad
* Dybala can score and assist, a rarity for us
* Dybala can be sold for money, we couldn't pay other clubs to take some of our other high salary players off us
* The probability of us winning a match is significantly improved when Dybala starts

I don't know many people who would disagree with this. But his skill isn't in question though.

The question is how many minutes and matches he'll get to play a season to actually show that skill.

Chiellini is still the best defender in the world when he's healthy, but I still consider the full picture. I'm not comparing their injury rates, but the same rationale still applies.

That said, with the lack of attacking talent in the team and no one to replace his skill right now, we need him.

All too true, but we miss him too often

His fitness is unreliable I agree but you can't solve the problem without big money and that can only come by selling Dybala and someone like De Ligt if people here want a Haaland or De Bruyne problem solver. Short-term and cheap options like Insigne and Mertens are attainable but even then, they wouldn't be that cheap given that we didn't want to pay too much for Scamacca.

If Juve wants an upgrade, it'll cost a lot is all I'm arguing. For me, the team would benefit more with a new LB, LW and creative midfielder than Vlahovic because I'd expect the levels of Kean, Kulusevski and Kaio (KKK lol) to develop more and that seems like better economics to me. It would mean that we also rely less on Dybala and maybe we can rest him more.

If we offer him 15mln per season then no sane club would ever chase him after simply because he's not worth it.
Do you remember when Arsenal panicked and offered 300k a week to Özil? Look how that turned out.

This guy is just another Özil with injury problems. He's simply not worth the fuss except for soyboy lovers like @ladyboy81 :claire:

Calciomercato reports that during the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Alexander Zverev, the German winner asked Dybala if he would be in Italy in five years when the next ATP Finals would be played in the country again, he replied:
“Maybe, maybe … But I think if you come here in the next five years you will find me.”
