Paulo Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun is planning to come back in Europe this month to complete and sign the contract extension with Juventus. New deal in place until June 2026. ⚪️⚫️ #Juventus Dybala is now prepared to accept - as his current contract expired in June 2022. #Dybala @FabrizioRomano
Since the start of last season we mustve read this at least 10 times. Obviously he's asking for something ridiculous, just look at the contracts we've agreed to with other player over the past few years and its clear who is the problem in these negotiations.

Does anybody with a brain cell or two actually think he's made to be an athlete when looking the body he has? Technique wise he might have it but other than that, he ain't nothing special and it's a scientific fact. He can't hold his body together for a good 6 months which tells me about the muscular imbalance and lazyness.

Maybe it's not Dybala but his agent. Look how we pay Szczesnys and Ramseys 3M a year, maybe he got greedy too

He’s not, we didn’t actively work on his renewal when Paratici was still here, and the talks actually started after the summer Mercato. He will renew by the end of November for the very reasonable numbers being reported.

While Paratici was here Agnelli felt compelled to come out with a statement regarding the renewal process of Dybala. I don't know what's your source about us waiting until the last moment to work on his renewal, but I don't think it's true.

Only a matter of weeks when he renews.

Happy bday’s and shit, but 28 already? When will he blossom to the star he was proclaimed to be by so many people?

Take a paycut as a bday present and i will blow the candles and we carry on together.

let's see how this will age
I'm not even sure I want him to renew or not...

thats why I'm not sure we should even renew him.
We tried to sell to no avail
He is 28 and will we give him a 4-5years contract for 10m net season? madness.
At this point it's better to let him go and search for another striker.

Dybala is good when not injured... something we havent seen in 2years by now but he isn't a winger and isn't cam/trequartista and neither a CF
This is the problem good but force us to play in a certain way to make him shine.
If he were like 26 I could understand to renew.
But doing it now? we'll keep him till the end of contract. Which would be at 32-33yrs old

If it's a reasonable contract, something similar to the current one, I sure hope so.

If it's a 5 year contract on 12m+ I'd rather see us invest elsewhere. We won't ever be able to sell him with that salary and if his level drops (like it has happened in the past) we might even have to do a golden handshake in the 3rd or 4th year.

Yet somehow I feel it's not a matter of weeks for the renewal, it's been a matter of weeks for over a year now and the closer we get to January, the more unlikely it seems that Dybs will sign a new contract. At moment the only thing that really is a matter of weeks is the moment Dybala is free to sign a contract with any other club in the world.

Sell him only for an upgrade that is creative but the question is who can do it? Those numbers he demands will be reasonable compared to the upgrades that people are thinking about. Low-quality players have low salary and gone are the days that people came to Juventus for the prestige.

Feel the same but it depends on the cost and this will be long. Juve is between a rock and a hard place. With CR7 gone and no decent replacement what options does AA have? Presently it's a struggle for Juve to score goals and as we have seen of late #10 has played like a superstar. I would tend to sign him to a 3 yr/30M deal with plenty of incentives for him to earn the money he wants (deserves?). His body tells me not to trust he can hold up for a 4/5 year contract. Don't want have another player we have to beg to leave or won't.

Like I stated Dybala holding most of the cards unless Juve says screw this finding replaccements for him and Morata this summer .And I agree with Pegi of his lacking physicality meaning what will this guy play like at 32? Looks like a kid but don't believe his body will hold up for maintaining max performance.

What I do see is how much he loves Juve with wanting to wear the #10 and being captain. And with no guarantee contract past this year he has played his balls off when healthy. See plenty of US players priority being do not get injured in that situation. So good for #10 playing for as much money as he thinks he deserves. My feeling is Dybala has had plenty of chances to leave already and might be bluffing on give in to my demands or I'm gone.

Bottom line is no CR7 so now top dog at a prestigious club like Juve. He might get his money but he'll never be that at a club the level of Juve. Euro soccer signings seems to me different than US ones more based more on what the club thinks you will do instead of what you already done. First 3 years at Juve Dybala in league had 52 goals and 19 assists and I believe paid well. Last 3 years only 20 goals and 13 assists. Blame injuries though but last season only one with 1K less average minutes from previous seasons. Though he has done quite well in CL action.

That's why I go the 3 yrs/30m with incentives. Hey, if #10 is so confident in his ability he should have no problem knowing he will get the money he wants or more either from Juve or another club in a couple years. Just out of Juve desperation I would be quite surprised if he doesn't sign. 90% Y/10% N
