And this has much less to do now with Dybala the player than it does Dybala the person, and how he is being treated by this club. Yes, he underperformed last year. But so did BOnucci, Costa, Cuadrado, Sandro, Pjanic, Bernardeschi, and basically everyone not named Cristiano Ronaldo.

So why is he being singled out? Arguably more skilled and a higher ceiling than ALL of those players I mentioned that underperformed. And people still think that this is an on the pitch issue? Then why aren't any of those aforementioned players on the transfer list?

It's because this is a economic issue, and a value issue. He is , by far, the most attractive piece to last year's squad aside from CR7.

And you can't tell me for a minute that these guys didn't know the economic ramifications of not only signing Ronaldo, but not winning the Champions League last year. Did the board just fucking wake up and say "Oh Shit!! FFP!!!!"

For a player like Dybala who has stated repeatedly how much he loves this club, and what the # 10 shirt means to him, this club is doing him dirty. Very dirty. This is not an Iaquinta or an Amauri situation where those players hadn't been in Juve's plans for several years. Up until a FUCKING WEEK AGO he was going to be used as a false 9 by Sarri. The coach even said so himself.

Some of you guys may not like him as a player, but I struggle to wrap my head around the thought that somehow the club is not in the wrong for this.

I made some calculations and I'm back to my original point: we must sell/loan 4 senior players without replacing them. This will leave us with two more players who won't make the CL squad and will be able to play only in serie A, but that's not unusual. We've done that in the previous years. They can be here as backups for the CL squad in February, in case someone gets injured in the meantime.
We have to sell Perin, Pjaca, one or both of Matuidi/Khedira and one or none of Dybala/Mandzukic/Higuain without buying a replacement. After that, with every new sale we'll need a replacement.

What a mess. We have squad full of players we wanted to get rid of, yet they are still all are playing in here because we either couldn't replace them or they didn't want to move. The original deal with Star Image was when he was 17. He was then told by the new company that he has been with since 2017 that they would take care of the issue with Star Image, whcich apprently they haven't.

A lot of people here are just over-reacting man. This club is renowned by people outside of this forum as having one of the best management in world football - we should be a hell of a lot more proud of that. Our track record in transfers is far from perfect but extremely strong compared many of our peers.

We sign De Ligt and everyone sais we have the best management. A few transfers later and we think they are hopeless. Let us not forget that Paratici has been instrumental in scouting and helping Marotta on some amazing work. I remember the days when everyone thought it was the end of the world when we couldn't sign Draxler for instance.

Have a little faith guys. You know, our biggest problem right now is a problem many clubs don't face and that is that no-one wants to leave. Think about other clubs where many want to leave. We never keep players who wanted to leave and that sometimes has hurt us financially in the short run but now many world class players want to be here.

I am a little sick and tired of the negativity and the ever changing bias. Perhaps its emotion.

Also, think about things practically. I like Dybala - I like his flair, his image and his appeal etc. But think about this for just one second. Not saying I want this. But imagine having Dybala as your number 9 in Sarri's system or Icardi for instance. Who is going to be more effective? We can say that he comes with baggage etc....ok, so who else then? To be honest, outside of extremely highly priced players like Kane etc - there are not many classic number 9s that are either available or affordable right now.

Kean? Yeh, sorry he left. But think about it. He had 1 more year on his contract and Raiola didn't want to extend. So what if he doesn't and we lose him for free?

There is a reason for everything you know. Sometimes we are just to quick to judge. Lets wait until after the deadline and look at the squad we end up with versus what we had last season. I am fairly confident it would be better and we do it in a financially sustainable way.

I still stand by the management - I have faith. I still think the team is stronger than last year. I am really looking forward to seeing a Sarri style of football at least for the novelty. My biggest doubt is whether his style is going to actually work and give us a better shot at winning the champions league - that is all.
