Would be if Ronaldo is a natural #9.

I think our attacking line up would be:

Costa ----------Dybala---------Cuads

------------------Ronaldo----------------

Costa and Dybala behind Ronaldo
Dybala a bit closer to the middle and costa more on the wing is my guess

Will be 433 in attack and usual 442 defensive shape with Dybala and Ronaldo up top.

Ronaldo-Dybala-DC with Dyb playing provider or how we ended this past season: DC-CR-Dyb with Dybala playing more of a central role with a very attacking RB providing width on right.

Off possession Ronaldo doesnt even play as a 9, its when they have the ball he becomes a typical box striker. So We can easily play Ronaldo - Dybala - Costa lineup with Dybala as false 9, drifting in and out (Like Benzema does, but much more natural in attacking midfield zones), much more flexible fit then having a natural 9 like Higauin who cant occupate other zones like Ronaldo can.

It'd be same as Liverpool's front three, but our Salah/poacher would be on left, Dybala would provide like Firmino with DC being our Mane/dribbler.

The end of season system I mentioned is another option.

Ronaldo purchase further guarantees Dybala stay and Higuain exit.

Liverpool's front three would press 100x more than our front three. Firmino alone runs more than Dybala/Ronaldo.

Pressing has to do with system, not role. Front 3's attacking roles remain the same regardless of how much we press. Not sure what that has to do with classic poacher-creator-dribbler front 3 combo. Diff here is, like with Pool, poacher would operate from out wide and the creative attacker would play in the middle in F9 role. Hence the comparison with Pool.

Usually, we press when opponent has ball in their third, then drop when they escape our press.

Dybala contributes a decent amount defensively. Even Higuain defended for us.
