Zamparini has spoken:

“When the criticism first started, I advised him to go to Spain,” revealed the man who first brought La Joya to Serie A. “He’s the new Messi. I still back him, even now when everyone is having a go at him. He’s too restricted by tactics in Italy, and he should move to either the Premier League or La Liga in order to mature definitively. His value? Juve paid €40 million, but now he is worth around €150 million.”

I sort of agree with Zamp but I think he could still do well in Serie A if he was playing under a different coach, i'm sure he has learned a lot under Allegri in areas where other coaches couldn't have thought him but there is no denying under a different manager/system he would have much better numbers and performamces

Dybala and also Pjanic lacks two things for me.
1. They are not the greatest athletes. You can see they lack in this deparment, Paulo sometimes seems like he could get past more players but lacks speed and strength to do it. Compare Pjanic to a guy like Modric, they seem to be similiar players but Luka is so much faster and stronger, while Pjanic only uses his technique when getting past opponents.
2. Second one is character, they usually dont shine in big games. This might also be because the first point as big games they encounter pro athlethes like Ramos or Casemiro who can out run and outmuscle them. Both of them are also inconsistent as fuck.

Its true. And at this point is pretty clear that Dybala and Allegri just doesnt work. Mainly because of the tactics we use.

Its clear as day he needs to move on to a more attacking team to not continue getting bashed. He is way too inconsistent here.

Icardi is better than Dybala - Boninsegna

Schick is better than Dybala - Cassano

Funny how rivals always compare forward players to Dybala. It’s like they low-key acknowledge the fact that he’s the benchmark of Serie A

I think you are mistaking style of player for being the entirety of a player's effort/ mentality. Sturaro could probably still fight for 90 minutes after the whole 90 but would you even watch football if Sturaro was an attacker?

No but what I’m saying is in his position there are others who do. He seems like he often gets disinterested
