Really poor today.

I actually think his form hadn't been bad recently despite not scoring as many, but today he was awful. He can have no complaints about being substituted today.

I was thinking we should give him a run of games at CF to get him more scoring opportunities, but Higuain is in too good of a form to do so right now. No idea what else to do, maybe bench him for a game would do him good

He is not trying, we should sub him and use him as a sub, so that he will be anxious to proofs that he is worthy of his playing time.
Some players work better under pressure, than under protection. He lost 2 penalties at a cost of 5 points, we gave him all the protection and support we could and he became much worse, let's try a different approach...

Absolutely nothing wrong with not starting a match or two. Doesn’t mean we won’t play him only that he needs to find something useful with his play again. He literally contributed nothing today

But i guess when pjanic isn’t there we need him for FKs otherwise who takes them?

Pretty terrible today. We definitely do need another quality mid, though; without Mira, things really stagnate pretty quickly there.

Often too deep, we need to find a way to get Paulo further up the field. It's not that he can't play the CAM role well, but I do want to see him unloading on goal. He needs an easy one right now.

Would totally understand if Max sits him down for a match.

i might be wrong but werent all his great games this season with Pjanic-Matuidi behind him? maybe without Pjanics passing from the back and Matuidis ability to cary the ball forward he feels the need to drop deeper and help the CMs start our attacks? or hes simply out of form

His first few games of the season it looked like he had improved with ball control, first touch, weak foot etc. But he's back to last year. #9 #9 #9 #9 that's his position. No way around it still.

Chiellini would do better between the lines right now.
