No good in benching him. Hes the type of player who can have a crappy game but can decide a game with one moment of ingenuity. I always have more patience for these kind of players. They can be inconsistent, look lazy and sometimes a bit sloppy when they are having a day off but I recall another player who often sparked debates whether he should be benched for good measures. Alex Del Piero... :)

Del Piero had a touch and mentality Dybala is miles away from, unfortunately. My criticism with Dybala is always and only because his talent and level is very high. He's 24 this month and it's the age where a supposed top player should be putting in consistent performances.

If he's being used wrongly then it's one issue but in the same position he was running through teams earlier in the season and people were making Messi comparisons. Firstly it's an insane and unfair comparison because Messi is a legendary player and at the same age had something like 180 goals, 80 assists, 3 CL titles, 5 La Liga titles, an Olympic gold medal and a Ballon D'Or. Let's get serious.

Dybala can look like Messi for a run of 10 games then looks like Muntari for the next 10. The difference being - as already mentioned - that he always has the potential for a brilliant goal or assist even if his overall game is garbage. In Serie A terms he's got 10 years of his career left or more, but I'd like to not have to wait another 5 years to see consistency and no sulking when things aren't all going well.

There's pressure and expectancy if you want to be a top player and wear the Juve #10 shirt, have to take the rough with the smooth. Am I being unfair? I don't think so. He's not supposed to be an ordinary player.

Also even when he plays badly we're miles ahead as a team compared to without him. He'll come good.

He has played every game for us, plus internationals. Maybe he simply needs a rest.
His incredible form was gone the moment he was "rested" for the two Argentina games in the last international break. At the moment, resting him or not won't have that much difference aside from it being a sadistic mean. He just needs to be more focussed and step it up, a lot of times when the first few minutes of the game don't go his way, he almost gives up. Just needs to work on that, and there's no better way than playing him.

Amazing no one jumps your dick by saying some bench time might not be a bad thing.

Anywho, I agree. You saw a massive spark when Higuain came on from the bench during his rough patch. That’s what champions do. Take it on the chin and hit back harder. Will see what Dybala is made of...

- - - Updated - - -

Yeah, we remember. He got benched and when he came on as a sub he scored. That’s how it works.
I agree with you. Dybala needs to hit the bench of performs like shit. Berna wont be any worse then a shite Dybala.

Dybhala, Higuain and Pjanic are our best players and should play eevry game even on shid form because they have no alternatives on the bench.

That must be a rule forum members should read before posting bollocks

You still going on with this shid because higuain spent 50 minutes on the bench against olympiakos like that changed his form around completely :howler::howler:

No it wont. Dybalas first touch and right foot arent going to get better by sitting on the bench

Is still best option at CAM and should continue to play as long as we keep this formation

Hurting millionaires feelings :howler: suddenly building confidence in a pro athlete, a very necessary part of the game undisputed by anyone but you when youre wrong and trying to shift the goalposts, is equivalent to libcuck safe spaces :howler:

Im starting to understand why you prance about so confidently. With the level of mental gymnastics you play to always find a way to be right you probably havent ever been wrong about anything. In your own mind of course.

Benching Higuain that day inevitably lit a fire in him. The difference between the aftermath and before that game should be abundantly clear to fans like you that depend on Football for Dummies to make it through a game.

But go ahead and ignore logic, the Argentina coach and Max because somehow you’ve played at a level remotely close to Serie A and an Argie NT.

But according to you, benching a player cripples him mentally.

To you, a players confidence in himself > than the team

Nb4 the argument to bench Higuain wasnt down to shitty performance rather “tactical” reasons. :touched:

Relax Fresh we aren’t selling Dybala. He is too fucking good. Thank God Del piero wasn’t mentally crippled when Capello benched him otherwise he might have never recovered.

After dropping Higuain against Torino and Olympiakos, Allegri believes he has sent the right message.

“Higuain is an important player and always has been, even if he was on the bench the last couple of games. Every season is different to the next. It’s already in the past and you must immediately reboot to start all over again,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“There are players who prove that, those who remained from the first Scudetto. Gonzalo mustn’t rest on his laurels. He must have the grit and ambition to fight it out with all the best in the world and he has what it takes to do that. As he is an important player, it’s up to him to do it and not be complacent.

“Higuain is playing tomorrow. The other day he came on against Olympiakos with a different attitude, but that’s the attitude he must have throughout the season and in every match.

Dat mental gymnastics :touched:

You were bitching about higuain for more than a month after the olympiakos game, all the way up to the game against so stop acting like you recognized dome change in form in him. You were still complaining even when his performances were getting noticeably better and he was putting in solid shifts contributing to build up play and harrasing opposition defenders. Euromaxx and buffon even complemented him on this but were you quoting them back then? No you were saying they had to protect snowflake higuians feeling. But that was also aftet the olympiakos game in which you could tell a fire had been lit in his belly. Youre all over the map

Youre just utterly wrong these days bro. Cronios tier poster.
