i might be wrong but werent all his great games this season with Pjanic-Matuidi behind him? maybe without Pjanics passing from the back and Matuidis ability to cary the ball forward he feels the need to drop deeper and help the CMs start our attacks? or hes simply out of form
Matuidi wasn't very good today so there was already sloppy possession going forward. But it needs to be said...Dybala's first touch today reminded me of Momo Sissoko. Needs to improve on this element quickly.

It's a strange thing...his first touch passing in tight spaces is amazing but his first touch control to dribble was suicide today.

I have never witnessed a player throw himself into a head-on train collision as often as Dybala did today.

It's like he he'd have 2 or 2 options to get away from the defender, but he'd choose to run straight into him nearly every time. And that first touch, lol!

It was a sight to behold really.

Was weird to be honest. Im one of his ardent defenders, but im objective too, unlike some here.

Today, dybala was doing the same trick of receivin the ball with his back to goal, and trying to dribble the defender with his first touch to his right side.... It never happened. He tried it so many times and failed once after another.

He was like in autopilot mode. Very weird to see.
He goes to the bench troubled, ignores allegri and thats that.

Whats going on?

Our worst player yesterday and by some distance. Shit ball control, poor passing and losing the ball repeatedly once again. Looks to be a bit mentally weak as well, when things don’t go his way, his head drops. Need more from him. Actually I think giving him some time on the bench (like with Pipita) might be a good thing.

I can’t help but think about that proposed move to Barcelona. Maybe he wanted to leave and we stopped him. Who knows.

if it was about going to Barcelona why would it start bothering him these last few matches and not in the beginning of the season when he was going past whole defenses and scoring hat tricks?

Definitely having a poor patch at the moment. Im actually not concerned, it was not so many weeks ago when higuain was shite and dybala was the best thing since slice bread. Rather see his bad patch now than later in the season.

For me as a team we are playing shite. I cant say any player is playing exceptional. We have clear issues with tactics and finding the right formula for this all to gel.

Players cant find form when being benched. I would rather Allegri wake up and play him differently in this team.

Note, would benching Dybala actually give bernadeschi a chance?

Amazing no one jumps your dick by saying some bench time might not be a bad thing.

Anywho, I agree. You saw a massive spark when Higuain came on from the bench during his rough patch. That’s what champions do. Take it on the chin and hit back harder. Will see what Dybala is made of...

Do you people remember when Higuain was not scoring? Leave Dybala alone and stop benching him!
Yeah, we remember. He got benched and when he came on as a sub he scored. That’s how it works.
