He's so gone :lol: Next season 100% he'll be sold. This is why I say to people, don't get too attached to players, with our club they come and go like customers at a shopping centre, just follow the club and the club only. Easier for you all this way.
It seems this way and I have to agree that we are not a selling club, we can be called a rotational club. It is clear now that our policy is to change squad all the time, we sell and we buy and we keep core. Even the core changes. Like when we sold Vidal and convinced Pogba to stay, we then sold Pogba and convinced others to stay, we bought new core, sold Bonucci and we are convincing Dybala to stay. Next season we will definitely sell him. So on and so forth.

That's how we keep winning league titles, but not CL.
League titles need hunger and fresh blood, CL titles need stability and persistence.

And I said it last season that our club's first and foremost goal will always be the league. Of course we aim to win the CL but it seems that the management believe that with luck one day a winning formula will fall in place and win the CL.

They're not completely wrong, we do make it to finals which means we are strong and built to win it, while winning finals does require a good portion of luck.

At first I thought that this policy is wrong but reaching two finals in three years proved me wrong. Hell even the clash with Bayern proved me wrong. Not only winning the final requires that luck, even reaching it. Some small margins play a big role. And mind you, just like I said, they are not making a complete overhaul every summer, just changes while bearing in mind there is a core to support this change. Apart from the defenders and Buffon, I see our new core as Higuain and Pjanic, they know that they can rely on them.

Im not sure about this policy long term. We will be in a situation were Milan just ask for Chinamoney, while we sell one of our starter every summer to compete.

Also when the English eventually get their act together if will be even harder to compete with the finance side. And they will with Ronaldo and Messi eventually starting to fade away those spanish giants will have a stepback probably short term till they find their next big things. Kind of reminds you of the mid 00s when England had like 3 clubs in semis (06-07; 07-08; 08-09)

Besides he is way overrated. I hope Beppe ships off his ass asap.

We already have Berna, our new #10 for the next 14 years :touched:

Yeah I 100% agree with that. If one refuses though, at least don't attach to foreigners, especially out of Europe. For example South Americans have no attachment to EU clubs for obvious reasons: they came here to earn money and win titles. They probably have affection for their local clubs like Boca or River but for players like Dybala it doesn't matter whether it Juve, Barca, Madrid ow whoever else. I can't say I blame them for the attitude, no one should be a slave of any organization; contracts are only for clubs these days so you don't lose your players overnight for free. You cash in so you can reinvest the money and the wheel keeps spinning that way.

There are exceptions obviously but we should expect those less and less as the time's passing. Too big money in footy these days to think otherwise.

@Mark

I never meant to say I wanted Dybi gone but it's obvious Berna is his replacement. A week ago I was sure he'd stay for another year but with Madrid selling Morata and James I already feel insecure. If Neymar goes to PSG, we'll have two hunters for one witch (Mbappe). No matter how you look at it, one that loses the battle for Mbappe will come in for Dybala.

Now the question is whether we can keep him a bit longer or just decide to cash in. IMO it's too late in the mercato to do that but whatever.

after Pogba I knew Dybala was next be sold. This is why we never with the CL, there is too much turn over and not enough stability. We are in the business of making money in Europe, not winning titles. Makes me sick to my stomach that teams like Real, Barca, Bayern, Man U look at us like a feeder team for them. It's like we are the Udinese of Europe. Not serious about winning... that's why when I hear all this talk about from management on how the CL title is the goal I think to myself... go f yourselves you liers !

Mark my words... if Barca sell Neymar to PSG this summer, Dybala is in Barcelona by the start of the season.

We'll have to watch old 1996 CL tapes then because we won't win this shit without having a solid core group and adding to it. :baus:
