Messi,Pele,Zico,Maradona,Baggio,Xavi,Pirlo,Cruyff,R9,Romario,Laudrup,Platini,Riquelme,CR7,Ronaldinho>>>>Zidane

Im not saying he's trash but he shouldnt be held in the same regard as the likes of Messi, Maradona, Cruyff, Platini etc.

His choking for Juventus is Messi for the national team level.

Now go suck off one of your chinky trannies before China annexes your country.
(Should not have made this comment)
What ?

Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Platini are ahead, as they are ahead of everyone

Zico, Baggio, R9, Romario are on a similar level

Messi, Xavi, Pirlo, Laudrup, CR7 are below

Riquelme is far below

Remind me the silverware, club and national trophee's that riquelme won during his career ?

- - - Updated - - -

I mean seriously. He came to europe with massive expectations. failed to meet those , went back to argentina.

Redondo and Veron had more talent in their little toe then Riquelme had.

- - - Updated - - -

Villareal, i even had to look up what spanish team barcelona shipped him off too

Cmon X, i'll support any claim how amazing Redondo and Veron where. Ortega, Batistuta, Almeyda, Crespo,...

But Riquelme ?

Reasonable opinions. Out of the players listed i would go with:
Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Platini
---------------------------------------
Zico
---------------------------------------
R9, Baggio, Romario, Messi,
----------------------------------------
The rest of them.

I know far to little of Zico. But better then R9, Baggio and Romario ?

Also, we should consider Garrincha, who is vastly underrated cause playing at the same time as Pele

A team with Garrincha and Pele in it, never lost a single game

My uncles always told me Platini and Zico were the greatest players to touch a football. Because of that I have gone back and watched quite a few of their games. Imo if Zico had not had a relatively poor international career he would have been deserving of that Pele tier.

I have heard of Garrincha but seen very little of him.

My opinion regarding Zico is that he's on same level as Pelé, Maradona and Platini. Talent wise, I don't have a doubt. He was a monster.

BUT

What separate those players are what they achieved internationally. All 3 were sucessful in both club and country careers. Zico played with what was arguably the most technical Seleção in history and managed to win nothing. Nada. International trophies were what really mattered to players then.

Imagine a scenario where Maradona never gets to win a World Cup and Zico does it in 82. If that had happened Maradona wouldnt be half as praised as he is, and you would never say you don't know much of Zico because his name would be of an even bigger legend. All because of a circumstance, of a specific trophy.

I dont know riquelme enough. Not even close to enough. but i know he came here and never really cracked it. When looking at his return to boca, it was not THAT insane either.

I mean, look at what the likes of Redondo, Veron accomplished. Zidane was masterclass at the highest level of competition in the era with amazing defenders. At juve, At real, With France.

Sorry man, i cant see it.

No older then 20 for sure, no one who say him live at his prime would be saying that filth.

Zizou is top 10 all time type of legend, so saying there are a fair bit of legends superior to him is valid, $#@!ting on him while namedropping random top player level players is foolishness.
