I agree we are soft in that regard but the argument on the other side and the one the club has actively taken is that considering a club of our stature and pedigree that if you wish to no longer play here then we don't want or need you here any longer. At least they are consistent on both fronts: players here already or ones we want to buy. Moral is: if you don't want us then we don't want you.

It's all fine and dandy but clubs sometimes need to force players hands if they are too important. Bayern had that moment with Ribery back in the day. He wanted to leave, but management said "nope, you're too important for us". Had he left, modern Bayern could have not been the same. I think you had that "Ribery-moment" with Pogba, and you may have it again with Dybala. Hope you guys don't lose the Argentinian one though ;)

PD: Ribery is now an absolute fan favorite and a devote Bayern man. He has even spoken of taking German citizenship and staying in Munich after his playing career :)

People are up in arms about our targets rejecting us...the "mighty" Juventus. Why then is that feeling not mutual from said people towards a player we have that asks to leave either because of more money or to a club that will win more? I'd think it should be worse to the players we paid well and gave faith/silverware in, no?
Of course, a target that rejects us is just another player, sometimes they are important sometimes they aren't but when our players who we made memories with, won trophies and above all got the club's faith and got developed to better players hurts more when they ask to leave. But then again, I do think that we are very soft on this front and our management like to make it heard and well known to everyone that if you ask to leave we won't stop in your way.
Remember when Berbatov rejected us? :D

@JCK I remember being very angry that we were pursuing him. I never liked him as a player and that hasn't changed. I ended up being so elated when we were "spurned"

Hey man, dont talk shit to my Bayern mates you peasent! Youre inferiority complex is just as big as a monkey locked in a cage with a pig. But i understand that, as supporting Frankfurt is like supporting Sassuolo. The german version of it.

Btw im loving this, can´t wait for Bayern to trash youre peasant club again. :tuttosport:
