Kissed badge is not even worth acknowledging, Imo Pogba throughout the years has been clear at hinting that he sees his future elsewhere so Pr kiss can't be compared to his own words of often talking about how flattered he is of interest from Barca /Real etc. In diplomatic way he kind of made it clear he will move in near future. Couple that with who his agent is and it'd been foregone conclusion he isn't here for long. Doesn't mean it's any less disappointing, considering his age especially, but no one should be suprised.

If you shouldn't get attached to players, than it's not football. It's a fallacy. If you care about a club, you will necessarily care about the players.
And reality struck. We had a huge leap last years to the 2nd level of clubs. I hoped we could actually challenge the first, but it's not happening now, nor in the close future. The fact we failed to retain our best players really cements our place along with clubs like Atletico, Dortmund, maybe Liverpool.
Dybala is absolutely leaving in 1 or 2 years, so to this one I really won't get too attached to. We need Italian talent, desperately. But nothing indicates that the top 8 teams in the world (money wise) will be challenged soon.

It's pathetic if it really came out like that, we overrate some the mental capabilities of these simplistic players. Vidal did the same and Pogba was ok (more surprising with latter, usually just quiet diplomatic type in official statements so far ) for me tho little immature ofcourse, that was until referring to us as mere holiday. In effort to placate new fans doesn't think how stupid and classless it is to diminish your career defining last 4 years like that. Extra surprising from him because he allways been carefully professional in all statements.

He was like ' i've been at united all this while, i just left for a holiday. thats how connected i feel' or something along those lines.

Pogba was a former academy player of that club. He felt let down by Fergie when he chose Scholes ahead of him and decided to leave out of frustration. I think he feels emotionally connected to United while at the same time is grateful to Juventus for giving him the opportunity. He leaves us as the world's most expensive transfer after all. The only regret i have is the #10 jersey which he stamped on.
I know people are upset we selling our best players each year but all those constantly bashing them after they leave are equally setting a dangerous precedent by throwing all the venom you can at them. No need to act so entitled and label it as 'fandom' or something.

Pogba was much much worse than Vidal. Pogba's kind of stupid and boyish and it's part of who he is, but the interview was full of blunders. Juventus a holiday? Leaving for Utd to win trophies he always dreamt of (even if we are clearly the better side right now and arguably a bigger club historically)? It probably won't hurt his brand (which is what he has now become), but it's still stupid.

We think of them as more mature than normal people because they're famous, but think back to when you were 23 years old and imagine being in Pogba's shoes. You'd say all kinds of stupid shit. Except of course Pogba's probably not even half as smart as the majority on this forum, so it's even tougher for him.
I don't believe that. I just think Messi and Ronaldo are that far ahead of anyone else that i can't see someone squeaking in UNLESS they do something extraordinary outside their domestic league like lead their team to a CL trophy or World Cup (Cannavaro). The EPL is the league that far and away gets the most attention and the last player to win it from an EPL club was Ronaldo in 2008.
