I know it was a pre-season friendly and we really shouldn't read too much into it, but that first 30 mins against West Ham yesterday was some of the best football I've seen us play in a very long time. So technical and fluid, amazing passing, quick interplay...I think this is the strongest Juventus team since 2006 at least. It's taken a couple of painful, but financially rewarding - and necessary - sales to help strengthen the squad in almost every department. I have no idea how people can see such a bleak future for this team. They didn't learn from the last (and inferior) mercato it seems.
So far in pre-season what i've been impressed with most is the fluidity in our passing and the quick transition we're able to make from defense to attack. Its definitely a good sign going forward.

It's been Allegri's remit for a long time, he favours quick, fluid and technical football with quick interplay, not sterile possesion and (seemingly) rehearsed schmesvlike we had to endure in Conte's last couple of years. We have all the pieces in place to finally make our proper mark in Europe. Just one more defensively sound DM with good passing...and we are good to go.

As I said. Our board become monsters searching for talent. That's obviously is great but when u r so good in something is hard to let It go. We r gonna keep making champions and selling for a huge profit and still we r gonna have an amazing squad

I said id never buy another jersey with a name and number on the back because i find them to be quite tacky. Del Piero was my only exception because he oozed with coolness. Dybala would make me reconsider.

The image of him curling a free kick into the top corner with 10 on his back would not only give me an erection it would make me finger my ass sideways.

from all the guys we have had in the past...he really looks like a natural 10, even more than tevez.

Im still traumatized from the heresy that pogba did,... so i dont know if it is wise to give it to him just for us to try to take off this bad taste pogba left...

but sincerely, dybala fits the 10 like a bglove

People are probably assuming dybala will eventually be sold but I truly believe he could be juves messi and be a lifer. He's been more pro juve in one year than pogba in four so hopefully people don't group the two together.

If he ever gets sold it'll be for more than pogba btw.

Dybala: 'Higuain faces competition'
By Football Italia staff

Paulo Dybala says he is 'overjoyed' by Gonzalo Higuain's transfer to Juventus, but warns: 'He will have some competition here'.

Last year's top Serie A scorer still looked a little out of condition in Sunday's friendly against West Ham, whilst goals were scored by his fellow strikers Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Simone Zaza.

“The first thing I did when I heard that Higuain might join us was to send him a text and ask him what the situation was like,” said Dybala, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He told me he was in talks with the clubs and that he wanted to join us. When I heard that everything was finalised, I was overjoyed.

“Gonzalo is a 'bomber', and it's not just me saying it. He scored 36 goals last year, setting a new Serie A record. We hope we can help him score a lot, and that he can help us in the championship in return.

“Of course, it's going to be much more difficult for him here at Juve, because there's a great deal of competition. Mario is in a good condition too and he's proving it.”

The Argentinian youngster was asked who would be taking penalties and free kicks for Juventus over the next season.

“I already told 'Pipa' that I'd take the first penalty, after that it'll come down to [assistant manager Marco] Landucci.

“As for free kicks, a lot of us have been practicing: [Miralem] Pjanic, Dani Alves, myself, [Roberto] Pereyra and [Gonzalo] Higuain. We set up a nice Thursday evening's club, we're having fun and we're getting better.

“We all want to take them, but there aren't that many free kicks on the pitch and we'll have to come to an agreement.”

Dybala was also asked what it was like to play alongside new signing Alves.

“There's no need to say anything, you just have to watch him. He's technically extraordinary and incredibly strong. I think he raised the technical bar for this team.

“When you have players like Dani and Pjanic, it's easier to find space and passes. Though of course English teams like West Ham give you more space than we get at home, where our opponents close up shop at the back.”
Can't wait to see him play in the CL this season with more experience now.

And the negativity continues. Stop crying guys and enjoy the coming season.
Indeed. We bought Dani Alves, Higuain, Benatia, Pjanic and Pjaca and the only guys we lost are Pogba and Alvaro. I love Pogba and Alvaro, but it was really obvious that Morata was leaving the club and i'll take that 110m for Pogba aswell if I can buy 4 worldclass players and one of Europe's biggest talents (Pjaca). Remember Higuain (All time Serie A topscorer), Dani Alves (+10 year experience with Barcelona), Benatia (ex-Bayern) and Pjanic one of the most productive midfielders in the world in exchange for Pogba. Yeah I know Pogba is a marketingmagnet, but our board did insane with filling the squad with some class players.
