Passing, vision, intelligence, creativity - fucking awesome! Really rare characteristics, kid is a jewel.

But his over dependancy on the left foot worries me. I see him backing plays down many times because of the lack of skills with the right foot, making him predictable sometimes.

And his lack of athleticism is a bit disappointing so far. His acceleration and pace seem pretty meh.
His right foot ain't weak imho . He gave a lot of passes with his right and also had a great first touch on an air ball . You can see that in the last moments of the video posted in the page before this one .

There are lots of great players who are/were very left foot biased, it's not really an issue, even if being ambidextrous has advantages. You don't get many players with two GREAT feet anyway, better to have a player with one than a player with two good-average feet.

Marotta paid 32+8M for wonderkid dybala,
while only willing to offer 15+7M for draxler..
Seriously..marotta AGAIN does the brilliant judgement..

Imho with dybala plays, having oscar/who ever passing guy will be better than having draxler..or isco type..remember palermo playing?

Agree. Robben for example is terrible with his right foot and extremely predictable but still shines. Though you need a decent right foot to finish as well I am sure that's something he already has or will improve over time. I am thinking of WC strikers then like RVP who mainly uses his left foot but can still bomb in a goal every now and then with his right foot.

I think that over dependence on his left foot is also affecting his balance. He sometimes creates more difficult angles for himself when going for goal, and may not have the best balance when taking a shot as a result too.

Dybala is partially known for his agility and excellent acceleration, and athleticism in general. One doesnt even need to see games of him, as there is evidence of it all over youtube.

But since you are putting so much importance in rating the preseason friendlies, lets check Pogba with your standards : a very mediocre lethargic player without anything special that is mostly lazy and couldnt give a $#@!.

I'll rate both when we play a competitive game.
Honestly I already had this impression seeing him at Palermo.

It's just impressions so far, no judgement yet

Exactly. He gets a little awkward sometimes and delays a play while he contorts his body to use his left foot.

You guys know Maradona also happened to be a zurdo, yes? Saying it limits Dybala is so :howler:

He needs more experience, that's all.
:agree: and some proper players to play with. Yesterday He was alone upfront as Zaza did nothing at all.

I'm waiting to see him paired with Mandzukic/Morata with someone else as AM. To me Dybala should be played as SS. Dybala with a proper AM behind, Pogba and Morata/Mandzukic will become more effective IMO.

You're right. Messi has the same problem.

Rivaldo comes to my mind, very left footed but what a player he was.

As Dybala is looking suitable to the AM position and we are struggling to sign one, this is how the squad looks per position now:

GK - Buffon, Neto, Rubinho
RB - Licht, Caceres
LB - Asamoah, Evra
CB - Bonucci, Chiellini, Barzagli, Rugani
DM - Marchisio, Padoin
CM - Pogba, Khedira, Sturaro, Isla
AM - Dybala, Pereyra
SS - Morata, Coman
CF - Mandzukic, Zaza

How does it look like?

I'm guessing Isla is more likely to be deployed RB even though he can play CM. and Caceres will definitely get mins as CB if we don't buy another one, seeing how frail Barzagli has been off late.
