As you say this though Berna when he played played better and scored more important goals and provided more important assists than Dybala has. I used to be in the do not sell dybala side of the fence now I’m 50/50
Your opinion doesn't concern me tbh. You are notoriously biased when it comes to Italian players. Dybala is our prized asset and most important player, whether you or other Tuzzers like it or not.

Deploy him in his proper position, and have a midfield that actually supports the attack/strikers, and then we can talk.

He's no Messi ffs! He's not going to pick up the ball in midfield and run at defenders.

Tbf we didnt play our best XI yesterday. Pjanic was not there to help out creatively. Playing fullbacks again as your wingers like Alves in final against top3 best team is questionable. If it was that easy most teams would have played fullbacks front 3 and get to finals regularly. That is smth which is becoming my one criticism.

I saw the lineup and instantly felt this is not the best we can offer. Since when is Sandro a LW.

And the attackers were largely isolated cause lack of creativity in the middle. We can only wonder what if Pjanic played yesterday.

And again like i said Costa is better left side than right. Not having fully fit Cuads or Berna on the right from start also didnt help.

Allegri should have tried a different formation during the season. Not Dybala as AM but Costa. Costa played AM and came into attention in europe after some good performances in europe there at Shaktar. He played AM.

So maybe play
-------Dyb-Hig
--------Costa--

Now that i think about it we could try a Milan diamond mid 00s. If we only had a quality RB.

Only one problem with your proposed formation. That Milan team was far superior to what we currently have. Costa in Kaka's position? :howler: Come on Man. No, just no!

We played Dybala AM last season...

Costa actually played AM before Bayern.

:howler: Sure. Let's sell our best player, and our most prized asset. When was the last time Juventus had an attacking player that made the "big clubs crumble?!" Del Piero? Nedved before that? Zidane? Before that it was Baggio and Platini.

Higuain isn't that player, Dybala isn't (yet), and guys like Costa, Berna, and many others will never be.
First of all, DP at 24/25 was doing amazing things in a MUCH better league with a MUCH better team...we are still waiting on Dybala to do "amazing things" consistently even though we are obviously trying to build the team around him.

Second, I'm not advocating his sale yet. I think we need to do a lot of thing differently in attack than what we have been to get the best out of both of our strikers. You of all people (probably more than anyone I know on this forum) want to conquer Europe. What past 3-4 or even 5 CL winning teams had their best player so damn inconsistent?

Quoting this too to highlight my first response about us having to do things differently in attack to get the best out of our players. I agree with it 100%

If we wrap up Serie A soon or if we are winning against minnows, we have to try him as a #9 or as an inside forward. We have to know for sure whether he can play in a 4-3-3 either as a striker or as a winger.

If the only formation he can play in is 4-4-2 then sell. End of story for me. It's too much of a sacrifice for the rest of the team.
Which one would you sell? Higuain or Dybala if it was up to you? How do you reinvest the money?

An honest question, because I also think those two just don't click together which is a huge mystery to me.

Ill just say that for him being our main man, he simply cant carry us.

He could be our best asset, maybe, but taht doesnt reflect on the field when it matters. In fact with his talent he should be lighting serie A on fire but thats not the case.

I think part of this is because this team is a big mess and he simply cant fully get his act together. But something must be donde and decitions must be taken fast

In Italy he is more than helpful. We need him to replicate that in Europe

I have been dreaming about this formation whole season.

Putting Costa anywhere but a flank is fucking retarded tho

put Berna there and we cool
that's what Max did against Spurs first leg, he had both Berna, Costa, Mandžukič and Higgy on the field, and played Costa in a free role in the center and Berna on the right, I still can't wrap my head around that decision

4 winners within 1 month
do everybody a favour and end your life, for $#@!s sake
No need to take it personal.

Posting videos of dybala owning nobodies in serie A is not enough. If we want to win more that is.
Or are you telling me that we cannot ask for more from our starman? Sorry but ill not put my hands on the fire for him anymore and thats it.
Allegri changes, or Dybala changes... but something has to change.

With all the skill he has, he should be toying with serie A.. but even thats not the case...and im full aware that is not totally his fault.. but SOMETHING has to change.

In this i agree.

Bernardeschi is not that fast to be honest... but he is vwry intelligent with the ball and has a great shot,
Why max doesnt use him as Treq instead of Costa is just well,, i dont know.

Dybala is better in Italy than he is in Europe, which can also be said for all our other players.

You can’t expect one player to carry a team of underperformers. As amazing as Ronaldo is, he wouldn’t dominate Europe if it wasn’t for Modric, Kroos, Isco, Marcelo, etc...

On Tuesday, Real Madrid scores 3 goals, hit the crossbar twice, and Ronaldo missed a sitter at the end. How many clear cut chances did Dybala get?

We wont get the best of Dybala as long as we keep using him like a glorified central midfielder. Our midfield weakness is masked in Serie A where teams hardly press us but it gets brutally exposed in CL and Dybala has no choice but to drop deep and get the ball out of difficult positions.

Either you play him closer to goal or you sell him.
