Who cares if he is a better footballer than them? What matters is what he can bring to the team.

He absolutely cannot do what Mandzukic does. He also cannot give the width and wing play back and forth that Cuadrado gives us.

He is best centrally. When the team can afford that, then he can start. A 4-4-2 with Matuidi wide left and Cuadrado/Berna/Costa wide right is his best bet in big games, until better solutions are found.

I'm pretty sure the logic was this
With no De Sciglio or Licht we played Barzagli. Barzagli isnt going to push forward so he wanted width out there with Cuadrado

However I would've played him in Mario's spot even if he can't really cut in there

Dybala, Mandzukic and Cuadrado all joined us in 2015. Dybala has scored 15 more goals than the other two combined. It’s safe to say that Dybala brings more to the team than either Mandzu or Cuadrado.

We pick our attacking players in a 433 based on how much they contribute defensively, and that is why we will never win the CL.

Never thought I would ever agree with this guy, but perfectly put. It's litterally one of the stumbling blocks we have had.

Well, the more i think about it, the more i keep thinking about the likes of Messi, Ronaldinho, Iniesta and co., players that can play wherever the fuck you put them. Playing a trident of Mandzo-Higuain-Dybala could work cause it doesnt have to mean that Dybala will play as a classic winger. He could be allowed to roam freely. Also, a 4-3-1-2 would also be a good formation. Fuck, Allegri can make it work, he said it himself once, the formation isnt the problem and it doesnt really matter what formation you play, its the players that count. You can play any formation you want, but if Sandro keeps loosing posession, if Pjanic missplaces passes and Dybala cant even control the ball, you are gonna have a bad day.
thats what i thought too. dybala on the left side could destroy. he will cut in the mid and create chances. just like quads. just like costa. but i cannot understand what were these summer buys then. we're too stacked. i hope we get 150 + for dybala and the problems are solved.

That's when he is at his best. If he is not in form, why does he deserve to play over others? When he plays properly he brings enough to the team to supersede everyone else. When he doesn't, then he needs to sit it out.

He played plenty this year while seeing a slow decline in form. Continuously playing him didn't make him snap out of it. Maybe benching wakes him up.

In the mean time we have to win vs Roma and if the coach doesn't see that he can bring what's the needed then we play him there?

The CL argument is pretty much BS because Dyabala has played plenty and starts almost all CL games.

He wont become $#@! anywhere, if he is a weak mental midget.
That's true. It would totally depend of which kind of coach he would find out there... for instance, the likes of Pep or Zizou would get the best out of him but the likes of Mourinho or Valverde would spit him out in a bit

It's not. Last time such a defensive approach success in Europe was Merda and that was a long time ago.... even RM's Mou failed doing that kind of tactics, with CR7 in his team so yep, we r gonna fail big time in Europe
