Are you serious right now? A player kisses our badge, looks you in the eye and tells you he loves you, and you think that means $#@! when they get an offer from Barcelona, Madrid, etc?

We have a project for him, so that means he'll stay? Grow up and smell the non-existing silverware. The kid will want to leave for CL. You see how 60% of the posts here are like "Meh, screw him, he sucks anyways, he can leave idc"? That's what it looks like when fans are psychologically preparing themselves.

Go to a Madrid forum right now and watch how they say similar things about Ronaldo. Ronaldo!!
Of course there will always be rumors, just like with Buffon, deal Piero, nedved, and Ronaldo and messi today. But none of it ever happened, if we remain one of the top 4 teams in the world consistently, then why wouldn't a player wanna remain if he's getting paid well and is loved by a team, along with being one of, if not the main guy. I'm not saying anything is guaranteed, but have faith in the player and the management.

Donnarumma only left Milan because they're not a top club, although he likes the team. We on the other hand, are a top club, and we're capable of keeping star players. Also, there isn't any other team in the world that can challenge our project with the young players, other than Dortmund who sell a lot, and madrid who have some good young players in their team, so that's also really important for a players thought process

If we stay as top 4 but win NOTHING -- it's worthless. Celtic won their league and cup every year all the time. We have to win in Europe if we want the world's best players to stay here.

A. Serie A is a pretty irrelevant league in most people's eyes.

B. If we can't win the big one, then players would eventually want to leave to win it. Like Zidane for example.

You don't get a trophy for being one of the top 4 teams in the world.

Well, maybe he's just frustrated with the team. Losing another final was hard enough but the way we did added to the pain even more. It sent the wrong message that we're not in the same league as the Spanish teams. And well, talent wise we're re not. We can't forget he's one of the main reasons we got to this final. It was his individual talent that made it possible.

My personal feeling is... You take what he said after the final plus this, is really tells me that he expected our players to be better. We're not as talented as we think we are, seeing our forwards haven't been prolific in the CL, and our mid is good but not enough. Don't even let me mention our bench.

So all in all, if there's one player who can complain its him. He gave his all and expected the same from the rest. Didn't happen.
Rationalize all you want what he did it both disrespectful and ungrateful, after all he is a juventus employee. If he doesnt like it here he can obviously leave but going out of your way to put the company that pays for bills down tells a lot about your character.

I don't disagree with you there, it's unprofessional. All I'm saying is for a man used to winning and having been an important asset to what was the best team in the world for a very LONG time, I can see why frustration would set in after our pathetic second half. We were bloodless, exactly the opposite of what this guy is all about. So we can all whine and complain or just accept he's a guy who says what's in his mind, whether that puts in a bad position or not.

Either way, doesn't matter. He's certainly leaving.

:agree: This. He can have those opinions but don't say that shit publicly. Even if you have no gratitude towards the team or respect for the fans than wait a year until your contract is up and talk all the shit you want. Saying it while still here is just unprofessional and I would support a fine for such things.

He has no respect for this club. From the start he came here acting as if he was giving Juve a favour. And in the process the club's appeal takes a hit and in the end not only him will consider us as second rate. Bench him for the whole year and make a statement

That's just petty and childish. Sell or release if we want to get rid.

Ridiculous. In no instance is being "a guy who says what's in his mind" an excuse for saying something inappropriate. People who use that excuse are just assholes.

I wonder if this supposed leaving of Alves due to no extention explains his unprofessional comment about dybala. @Osman

Also, @Mark you might want to clean up the tags of this thread. I dont know how people put them, and they are a bit out of line
