please, no way Dybala will be worth 150m after a season or two, he'd have to start scoring 50-60 goals per season Messi/Ronaldo style, I don't see him upping his numbers so much so soon
market prices are not only about numbers. according to the numbers, stats and available data, pogba and pjanic should cost the same. dybala is a crowd favorite around the globe, he's an easily marketable player, so he's worth a lot more than a less fancy striker with the same numbers. and he's having his 2nd year at a top team, his best is yet to come. also, the chinese and the pl clubs have raised prices considerably, just look at the chinese having payed 60m for oscar or 20m for witsel having 0,5 left of his contract.

and also:

:agree: Look how much we paid for the older Higuain
if rumors are true, beppe already refused bids around 80m for dybala. anyway, when messi and ronaldo won't be the top dogs they are atm, it's not a big stretch to see dybala's market value rise around ~150m.

Yes, but we don't need to make it easier for him to leave.
If there is a clause, is because he and his agent enforced it and we succumbed. it seems we are not in a position to simply say "clause? no fuking way, you are juvebound", at least not yet.

Because if you are going to play tough, to play the game, you need to be able to back it up. Other teams do this by simply offering absurd money and showing great power, above what the player can show. We cant do this because we would need to unleash crazy amounts of money ala madrid or Barcelona in order to shut the players and agents mouth. Since we cannot do that, we need to settle to this kind of clauses in case the player receives an interesting offer from said clubs.

Top of the line players are very well aware that Juventus, while being as great as it is, it has a ceiling...and teams like madrid and Barcelona seem to have no ceiling in terms of glamour, exposure and silverware. Think about it, in a team like madrid, you can not only get famous and rich as hell, but also win silverware.

80m is pretty much half of 150, it could be what Dybala's potential is worth atm. again, I dont see him doubling his worth in 2 years, inflation or not, I think even after 2 years 150m will be very good money for him, similar to how 90m was very good money for Higuain

If he only signed the contract on the condition that we include the clause... forget him being the new Del Piero (as some say, lol). Don't even give him the #10 :D

If he really demanded a clause like that i'd sell him to China for 1/3 the money.
I Don't believe it (yet) though.

It's true you better believe it. I just hope it's for teams outside of Italy.
then he can fuck right off.

Tbh, i dont count on anyone to be the new del piero, specially if said person is not italian.

But you dont know, he very well could have a long lasting career with us. The thing is, that for a player to stay with us, he needs to really have a bond with the team, because when things turn stale or go south, they leave. Players like Dp and Buff stood even in the worst moments, when they could have very well asked for a transfer to a more enticing team.

There are also exceptions like Trez and Camo... but those players were already stablished and it was a different era, where serie A still was considered a hyped league (even when it was decaying and fast). So they ahd some reasons to stay. Nowadays, the truth is that serie A is lackluster and gets boring fast. I imagine players get bored of steamrolling the same strugglers year in year out, so they try to find another competitive enviroment to prove themselves and earn more money.

At least in the past the milan trannys posed a real challenge to us.... but nowadays everyone bend over to us unless we seriously fuck up.

Agree for the most part. But let's wait to see if it's true.
If he only was Italian. Can only trust Italians at Juventus.
Too bad Italy produces shit in attack these days

No one is going to pay 150m for Dybala.

What if it's a move by our management to keep Dybala? If a lower offer came in, they could just argue that 150 M is the price or gtfo.

Or maybe I'm just high...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Di Culo confirmed it. Thank god it had the only teams outside of Italy clause.

Off topic but how can Inter/Napol/Milan/Roma fans be fine with their players actually signing these so called anti-Juve clauses. Doesn't it make them feel even smaller when they need such clauses just to be able to hold their players. It would be a beautiful meltdown here if we started signing such clauses.

I really thought Vidal would be a long term player because the bond was certainly there, broke my heart. Now I don't trust anyone apart from Marchisio, BBC and Buffon.

Only really big challenge for the big five European teams (in which we are easily included) is the CL other than that it's mostly steamrolling especially for us and Bayern. Barca, Real and Atletico at least have each other to compete against.

More enticing team? Basically only Barca, Real and Bayern can claim such a thing and even with them it is very close nowadays. For example we just signed the starting rightback from Barca last summer.
