Hopefully Juve is finished with that .....Juve needs too much rebuilding, go young, even the GOAT couldn't help Juve. So even if Busquets was in top form still wouldn't be enough. My thinking is you can buy 2-3 younger players for the same price as one proven 30+ older player who lately we see once at Juve form/talent falls off the cliff. At least with the younger prospects who don't pan out at Juve you always can find a club that believe they will bring out their best. No clubs will touch the 30+ players with big salaries and you're stuck with them.

Dont get me wrong - Its ok to have some 30+ players but it shouldnt be systematic and should only be used in specific cases.
As for now - We need reliable players that can put the effort and improve us rather than washed up players.

As for Dybala - Keep him if we have a manager who can use him properly - Sell him if we dont.

I was a big few years back but all we have now is lots of THINKING he will turn into a great player worthy of Juve's #10. By this season's end 3 years of underachievement and of course we can say injuries here and there. Lol that players need a good coach to become great. #10 has had enough smoked blown up his ass that he's this and that. Someone needs to stick a pin in his head to deflate it. Come to realize now Max should have stayed and THINKING #10 should have left. Max is a good/great coach right? Those coaches get the best out of players right? And didn't he want #10 gone?

Was a big Higgy fan and looking over league play comparing him to #10. At equal ages Gonzalo had 124 goals in 14k+ minutes to 92 for #10 in 18k+ minutes. Yes I know, stats don't always tell the whole story. And didn't even look up Higgy's international stats but don't have to with as little as Dybala has accomplished with Argentina. Wait, had to look it up. Higgy had 25 goals by Dybala's present age. Someone else can look up Dybala's international career.

Bottom line for me is #10 isn't getting any younger and he sure needs to get his game in top form soon!!! I hear and also believe needs to be stationed in the opponent's goal area for maximum success. I mean where else can be since he's a defensive liability when he's on the pitch? So if he gets positioned in the goal area, can we refer to him as a semi-poacher if posters here like to say CR7 is only a poacher? Strange how CR7 seems to be able to find the area to where the ball is played and poach it in.

And if you want to talk about all the easy PK goals CR7 gets ...... it's 24.9% for his league(s) career. Dybala is at 24.3%. And since so many here want to complain CR7 sucks at free kicks. CR7's successful rate for PK attempts is 86.3%. Dybala's stands at 85% for his league play career.

Players have touch and skill but can easily be nullified by tactics, regardless if they're Messi or Ronaldo. Certain matches Ronaldo looks like shite because there is no movement around him, or we don't stretch the opposition to give him space, or he's too deep - all of that is tactics. Even if we have majority possession, Dybala/Morata/Ronaldo are much better running onto the ball. When we're functioning then the strengths and weakness of Dybala can be exposed but good coaches play to his strength hence why he's played well under Allegri and Sarri but not Pirlo. Yes he's underwhelming but coaching is a massive factor and Pirlo is precisely why we went from serial champions to this shite.

He already plays like a slow and old washed up player. Think he's going to deteriorate the moment he hits 30.

The same Kai Havertz who was quite shit at the beginning of the season and Chelski fans were questioning why they invested so much in him?

Coaching is important - I say give Dybs another season under Allegri/Zizou and see what happens. If he shines, offer him that renewal. If not, well, losing him on a free won't be a huge loss at that point (at least not in the books anyway).

Him sucking on the pitch this year has nothing to do with coaching. We're not talking about a 20 year old player who needs to be babysitted by a good coach. This same guy was a match winner for us in the past, but now he plays like a semi retired footballer.
I am not sure if Zidane or Allegri can change things much, if not at all tbh.

His decline reminds me of Ozil. Very similar trajectories actually.

He has been injured basically this whole season, probably became physically impossible to reach the form he had last year.

Im kinda surprised how many people here seem to have such a short memory. Dybala was great last year and carried us.

I understand the criticism, out of the last 3 seasons, including this one, he sucked big time for 2 of them. I’m quite sure we would’ve qualified already for the CL, or even still battling for the Scudetto, if Dybala wasn’t injured this season. He’s still one of the best players we have in this team.

I’d agree now that it’s a big risk to build the team around him. Not only because he didn’t show us to be very reliable, but also because he has certain characteristics that make him very difficult to replace when he gets injured.

Im not on the plusvalenza hypetrain for him, we’ll probably regret selling him if the board decides to do that

Yeah, I can't understand this logic that people have - saying Dybala is bad because he hasn't done anything this season. Ofc when he is injured he can't do anything but what about last season and his performances before that? We all know what he is capable of
