I spoke too soon, you might be right of him being benched next.... read the bolded part of what Allegri just said about him for clarification/hint:
not sure what he meant by that. it doesnt change nothing about the way he views Dybala i guess, which could mean he knew what Paulo is capable of and is not a big surprise to him that he play so well.. whatever it is, im still about 70-80 % sure he will start vs Sassuolo

What is that actually supposed to mean?
I have no fucking idea, fairly moronic to read after such a game...

“I'm only half-satisfied, I was able to score a goal but I also missed a lot,” he told Mediaset after the game.

“I am self-critical because this is the only way I will improve.

“Today I went into the pitch linking up play, which isn't easy for me because I used to be a poacher and I had greater freedom. Besides, [Franco] Vazquez used to help me a lot.

“Pressure? No, I don't read all the things that are written in the papers and the team does a good job of shielding me.

“Juventus are among the competitors for the Scudetto.”

Thats allegri's way of telling everyone, he's the coach and he'll decide wether he plays or not, not public pressure.

Kinda taking the pressure off the player onto himself

In different ways, both Conte and Mourinho do the same.

Both would create an atmosphere where there is outrage and its all going towards them, making it easy to feld the player off pressure.

Mourinho would see a player try hard and not perform, and assault the referree or opponent in a way, people forgot about the player and attack him.

Conte, much more then allegri, would bombard the pressconference and establish domminance, or just go like "media silence gtfo" but also forbid players of talking. result is half the media shitting their pants, and the others are to buzy to attack conte, rather then players.

If Allegri would have said nothing, he would have been shown to be a peasant who's decisions can be influenced by a bit of media pressure.

More like taking the word fool to a whole new level. We don't need this telenovela dramatic shit, we need results and Dybala on the pitch means our chances of winning are certainly higher. He just needs to swallow his fucking pride and realize where he is, definitely not Atalanta.

I was wondering if this is an Italian thing or just a reflection of modern Football. I keep going back to a 20 year old Ronaldo causing havoc at Barcelona. Imagine if they had this same moronic mentality that he was "too young" "not ready to take responsabilities".

Nothing what you said makes any sense out Allegri's bewildering mumbo jumbo comments. There is no tactic to this, and it sounds more desperately dumb each time in past press conferences.

Messi had his big breakthrough season at 21/22. 38 goals in 49 games, up from 16 the previous season.

Of course Dybala won't explode to that degree, but he literally looks like a player who could score 20-30 goals and add 10-15 assists in all competitions this year if Allegri makes him a constant starter. This is his year to just catch fire.

I'm going to predict 15-20 goals and 10 assists, because I don't have faith in Allegri starting him in important matches until his hand is absolutely forced.

You all are offcourse entitled to your own opinion.

As long as he doesnt deliberatly benches him to use a point, i'm fine with it. Allegri thinks this is the best way to keep the pressure off the player so his development isnt hindered.
As a fan, i'd offcourse want dat assymetrical 352 cumshot in action. If Allegri limites the times it actually is, cause he'll think its better for the player...

...we'll, his opinion is worth 2.2 mil net/year, and i'm just sitting here behind my computer.

Not sure what the tit for tat is here today but the fact remains: dybala MUST start and Allegri has been a fool by not doing so. The kid can easily (should easily) start every league match unless injured or in need of a day's rest.

No excuses.
