The one thing that worries me is the fact that he never played for any of the U- Argentina teams. I mean for such a wonderkid it's quite weird.
With the amount of players argentina has and the talents It's not weird. I mean look at all young talents currently over there. In terms of young talented players I think they are second to no one.

The first time badass said let's get Dybala, at the time I said wtf he sees in this player. To be honest he's progressed really well over the years.

How great do you guys think he'd become tho? his style is like a left footed mini Del Piero with his pry injury pace.

Inter made a last ditched offer of 25 million + 5 million in bonuses but Zamp said he'd agreed with Juve already - Di Marzio
More like Zamp doesn't accept monopoly money

I'm an awesome scout :) i see the diamond in the rough, still somewhat annoyed we didn't sign Dybala when palermo went to serie B we would have got him for cheap especially as he was a fringe player at the time. I remember the time of mentioning Dybala everyone were fapping over Illicic and to be honest even to this day he is such an overrated player.

Hopefully we'll sign Bou from Racing in the next few years :tuttosport:

The thing with Dybala type players, is that you have to use them very specifically to get the best out of them, and sometimes that happens at the expense of the team. In that sense and financials apart, its a very un-Juve signing. Its players like Licht, Asamoah, Perreyra, Marchisio, Tevez even the likes of Padoin to a lesser extent that signify what this team is all about. The collective. Players willing to sacrifice for the team and being able to adapt to their roles and circumstances.

Its the same problem Barca have with Messi, but luckily for them, he's good enough to ensure things on the pitch don't get Messy at all. :D All that said, I hope the player has the maturity and ability to make sacrifices to contribute to the cause while making a name for himself.

Dybala's body of work (Knowah copyright) in the defensive department is huge from what I've seen. Not all dribbly style creative players are lazy selfish pricks.

He is exactly the type of player that Juventus is looking for. He's an unselfish player that always puts in a full day's work

You fap to alot of players tho.. Ansaldi for example :D but this guy seems like a real deal.
He basically just does it with Argies, because he watches that league. You really can't always tell which ones would be good, but with Dybala it's easier to make an estimation:
Dybala made his professional debut in the Primera B Nacional (Argentine second division) with his hometown club Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, when he was 17 years old. In total he played 40 games with the club, scoring 17 goals. Was the youngest to score a goal beating the record of Mario Kempes, was the first to play 38 consecutive games in a professional league in the country by beating again Kempes, was the first to score two hat-tricks in a season and has scored in six consecutive games, surpassing the previous record of four games.
So he was hardly your average teenage player. Then Palermo paid €12m for him aged 19.

As for the player himself I see a little of a few different Argies in him, he has fight and bit of coldness around the area that Agüero has (Tevez to a greater extent), he has the left foot, agility and tight control that remind a little bit of Messi, and as the wiki page points out he does resemble Montella for the build, foot and some of his style. I like in particular his close control and explosiveness with the ball in the first 10 yards. Because he's not particularly strong being able to evade defenders with skill and agility becomes extra important. He doesn't look like he exclusively has to avoid direct contact, but isn't going to be like Tevez going shoulder to shoulder with bigger opponents.

damn, Palermo paid good money for him then.

He even celebrate like Montella in one of the pics in Osmans story. :D far more technical than vincenzo but I could see how they'd compare Dybala to him.
