One of his agents, Mascardi "Yes, Paris Saint Germain has stepped forward with a bid of around 45 million euro, and Chelsea was already at 40. Now the price can not be less than 50 million. Paulo is not in a hurry, will make his choice calmly "

:greed:

I think that is a BS, who in right mind would offer 50m for a talented, but hardly proven striker who's contract is expiring next season. Hell even PSG is not that rich, especially if you take into account FFP, and that for the similar money they could have buy Di Maria last season.

It's no suprise imo,and the likely scenario, some oil club ala PSG/Chelsea/City will pay the 40M for him.

And with those numbers being throwned around,we can go for an established, ready CF.

For this money we can possibly get Cavani,Lacazette(if looking for a younger player).

how has dybala proven anything in his breakout year but berardi hasn't proven anything in 3 years?
How has Dybala proven anything beyond the first half of a season? That isn't enough of a sample size to be proof of anything. In fact, his last 10 games, he has 2 goals so what does that "prove" beyond that his early season form hasn't continued to the same extent.
Berardi has had one good season, similar to the one Dybala is currently on. I don't rate them per goal ratio as this factor will change depending on what team you play for. Dybala has been extraordinary this season, by not only scoring goals but also setting up teammates. He's controlled and very cleaver on the ball, whereas Berardi's foul statistics and general play makes me conclude that Berardi is not as good as Dybala. However, note i'm not ruling Berardi out just yet - he's just 20, and if we take action in somehow signing him I will be pleased. Only Dybala looks like the real deal.

Immobile looked like the real deal too, top scorer of Serie A and all, yet I don't think anyone here rate him as promising (3 years older even) as Morata.

Zamp has proclaimed he'll sell at €40m, now who in their right mind would top that?
No one.

Not every agent should be taken too seriously. No one has offered that kind of money. PSG currently has a luxus problem with Ibra and Cavani, they certainly haven't offered 45mln. They also are still limited in their spending because of FFP & Luiz was signed before they got that fine from UEFA, so he's not the best example.

Also Dybala as far as i have understood has a team of agents, not just one, so chances are one has no clue what he is doing.

Camp Nou is spectacular. People can visit it without being a Barca fan. I've been there twice and I don't even watch their games.

I think Dybala is good enough to drop 25-30M on. We can't buy made WC strikers, we gotta make them. But on the other hand we cannot buy total nonames because they won't help us short term (or at all).

Both are terrible, but 45m for Dybala is worse. He has literally played one good half season.
Are you suggesting the Brazilian league is better than Serie A ?

Dybala is the top league assister right now btw

Not that i agree with that valuation anyhow.30m is a decent price for him i reckon.

"now"? It's been like this for a decade at least...
Nahh, it's gotten noticeably worse in the past 2-3 years...

Even 30M is madness TBH. Thats like what Roma paid for Iturbe, or close to. Shit is crazy.

I've never been, but I have friends who went to watch Barca there and they tell me the views (well unless you're in the lower tiers) and the atmosphere are terrible. And it's Barca as well FFS, a truly disgusting club.

Not quite, it's just the numbers getting higher. If you go back to even 98' you have a Denílson that cost Betis 30m. And 30m then was something close to our 60-80m transfers of today. It's certainly ridiculous though.

Regarding this player... If the reports are true and both PSG and Chelsea offered 40m+, close thread. @Mark
