“I could play with [Barcelona striker Lionel] Messi in the national team. I'm a number 9 [a poacher] but if necessary I can play in support of another striker.

“I like to run for the team and help out the defence if necessary.”

Dybala also said that he was open to changing clubs in favour of the Blaugrana.

“People here are cordial, just like in Argentina. But I'd be willing to swim to Barcelona if they called me.

“After all, I'd just have to cross the Mediterranean!”
1) Barca have a ban for next season so they won't buy him this summer. If they want him so badly they would have to pay for him this summer and wait for him January. If they don't buy him this sum,mer than his contract will be over and he will be free agent and parlermo are not going to give him for free.

2) why would he join a team with suarez, neymar messi... he would just rot on the bench.

Inter is out coz they won't have the CL if he has the chance to move to clubs win CL. In Italy, I don't think he would stay for anyone other than Juve. All other possibilities would be to move outside for money and CL possibilities. I don't think Zamp would agree to 25m, and given that we've acceded to his greedy demands with a pretty high starting bid for someone on the last year of their contract, I wonder how much an English club would pay to compete with that so as to not lose the player. It's all silly. But if this is the route we are taking, I think touching 30m plus would open up a another segment of players which may see us walk away from this deal. Hopefully the player stays strong on his will to join juve then we got a strong chance.

I dont mind us offering 30m for this guy, really.
It's silly money for someone in the last year of their contract. Given our priorities, we could wait out a season for Dybala to be available on a free, and find a short term fix in the interim. That said, if the rumours of a starting bid are in the region of 25m, I'm pretty sure we will add the extra 5m to not lose out on him so he can get nurtured under the tutelage of the Carlitos.

What makes you think that he will wait for us for another year?

He's leaving this season whether we buy him or not. He won't be available on a free. He's hyped, sought after. We're lucky he hasn't caught the attention of the big money clubs and that he wants us.
