Isn't inter under FFP investigation? How the hell do they aim to suddenly build a team to compete for the title next year?

  • Juventus
  • Roma
  • Inter, Lazio, Napoli, Fiorentina
  • Milan, Torino, Sampdoria
Zamp said his team will be ready for trophies next season. :seven:

Can Inter make a better offer like they did with Iturbe? I really hope we don't have to go through that again. Iturbe, sure, we dodged a bullet but Dybala seems to be the real deal.
The team Inter have built is hardly impressive.Need to look beyond some of those names. They still have a shoddy defense line. They made some good midfield purchases, but they ended up flopping badly.
With no Europe again, they'll probably sell one of their 'stars' to fund a move for Dybala or whoever is on their radar.
How can they afford a move like that a.) without selling or b.) CL football?

FFP works only to a certain degree. They are going to be given the same punishments as PSG and City albeit with a lesser fine.
Basically, being under FFP investigation doesnt mean the club is fucked. It only aims at making clubs more responsible financially.
PSG and City for example will continue spending big despite the sanctions. That wont change.

Rather stick with Pereyra than bringing Berardi right now.

We just need one more attacking option(not Berardi) and we'll be doing fine.Provided we hold on to Tevez for another year that is.
I've pretty much been the biggest Berardi fan, as I usually am with all youth :)D) but I am starting to agree more with these every week. Very conflicting indeed. I think we should try to go all in for Dybala as he could be our future #10 and what better time to get him in his last year of a contract? He will be sold this summer as Zamp will force him out for sure rather than let him walk for free. I hope we get him. Pereyra doing fine and an attack with Tevez, Morata, Zaza, Dyabala, Coman is strong IMO.

But yeah, if Tevez decides to head to Boca this summer then try to get Berardi too.

So why does anyone follow it if a slap on the wrist happens? Unless an extended transfer embargo happens to them a small fine is nothing.

I dont think any club exclusively follows it.Its just that some clubs(especially the top ones) have been clever and pro-active enough in exploiting the loopholes that exist in FFP.

FFP is not designed to curb exorbitant spending.

Football Italia:

Palermo star Paulo Dybala has received "two or three Italian offers, one in particular from England.”
Palermo confirmed the striker will be leaving this summer after he repeatedly rejected a contract extension.
He has been linked with the likes of Juventus, Arsenal, Roma, Manchester United and Inter.
“It would be fundamental for him to remain in Italy and continue his growth process in Serie A,” agent close to the situation Gustavo Mascardi told Gazzetta TV.
“We have received important offers for Dybala, including from abroad where he is in particular wanted by an English club. There are two or three Italian proposals too.

“Is he worth €40m? Well, a player like him certainly can’t be just given away.”
Today Inter entered the fray with Coach Roberto Mancini praising Dybala.
“It’s only normal that he would speak highly of a player like this, but it’s not easy being up to the valuation Maurizio Zamparini has placed on him.”
Could Napoli also be included in the race to sign Dybala?
“I think Aurelio De Laurentiis is one of the best Presidents in Italy. I’d love to do business with him, but he’d have to make a real effort.”

$#@! him, don't want to be a part of his "growth process" before bigger and better things. He's no Pogba.
A promising player is a promising player. We can't have every potential signing swear a blood oath to Juventus. Need to climb peu a peu and accummulate these kind of players who will attract each other and hold each other from moving to other clubs.

I agree. But even now, before any move has occurred, his agent is implying he wants him to move to an Italian club for him to grow further. I don't mind our players having ambitions outside of Juventus, but I like to believe that we're a big enough club to not have players who haven't already signed thinking about moving on.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will for many many years stand as the ideal destination for most players in the world, we can't deny our players from following their dreams.

Like I said before, not talking about our players.
You're talking about Dybala. He's talking about Barcelona (his dream), and you say that's not ideal? It's not ideal, not if he's about to join any other club then Barcelona that is..

If we sign Dybala id be sad to see him want away, but i have strong faith we're persuasive enough to make him feel like Morata feels towards Real Madrid. If we have a competitive young squad with great chemistry outside of the pitch as well that will empower our situation when signing new contracts with our star players.

“I could play with [Barcelona striker Lionel] Messi in the national team. I'm a number 9 [a poacher] but if necessary I can play in support of another striker.

“I like to run for the team and help out the defence if necessary.”

Dybala also said that he was open to changing clubs in favour of the Blaugrana.

“People here are cordial, just like in Argentina. But I'd be willing to swim to Barcelona if they called me.

“After all, I'd just have to cross the Mediterranean!”

Real Madrd for my money are the biggest club in the world. But I don't see how barca are bigger than Juve, historically speaking. They play good football, they are in the present circumstances, much better off commercially, they have a bigger brand, they got the biggest player of the generation. But how are they much bigger than Juve, trophy for trophy? There's a little but of projection and pretence as far as that's concerned.
