When I have to put up with shit at work like "Falcao is and never was world class but Welbeck is a quality signing" and "I'd rather have Abou Diaby than Paul Pogba" you soon end up learning to ignore their shit and just remind them of the cold hard facts. How the fuck did you do in europe this season?

I shit you not, he was even compared as a young Henry by some when he first joined arsenal, I guess that is one way of trying to hide one's disappointment of pretending not to care that your club signed Welbeck and not someone far superior.

I've heard an even more absurd statement last year about Antonio Valencia being a better player than Ribery, even to this day he remains loyal to that statement.

So yeah I think it is fair to say epl fans are deluded, but they are never going to change so long they believe that the product the league offers is superior to anyone else' whilst the clubs they support are bank rolled by stupid tv deals and ticket prices.

Arsenal-mania forum  it's actually worse than Red Cafe and RAWK...wow. EPL fans really are the most deluded, arrogant and pig-headed scumbags in the world.
Tuz is probably just as bad. We had folks declare morata as good as raul, del piero was seriously argued for being much better than messi and now tevez is better than messi.

Thats all irrelevant, all forums have their crazy ass posters who come up with stupid shit like that, but most EPL team forums have members who don't watch any football outside the EPL (maybe only barca and Real Madrid) and yet display astonishing ignorance about other leagues. And the arrogance from them is also on another level. It's basically as @Fred described it, and he's an Arsenal fan.

well this is also a distortion of what was said tbh i think some suggest that they would rather have tevez than messi, and i am sure that most would agree with that statement if the argentina-germany game was to be replayed.

im possibly tevez' biggest fan but messi is obviously spheres above him, but in some games id rather have the apache.

They have a Bundesliga Thread: 7 pages
    Serie A: 5 pages
    Ligue 1: 2 pages

Takin lots of pride in not watching Johnny Foreigner football because "BPL is superior". Maybe someday UEFA starts giving trophies for being "most watched" leagues instead of actually winning something. And when some Kick&Rush pacefraud fails in LaLiga it's because Laliga is diver league

-We're in pot 2 next year, pot 1 is for league Champions. Could be in a group with Juventus, Barca, Bayern, PSG etc.
-Just imagine Barca - Arsenal - Juventus - Lyon. Would you be happy with that ?
-If we play as we can we would win that, or second
    -Lol
-We finished second in a group with Dortmund, Napoli and Marseille. That was when Dortmund were still great and Napoli were at their best under Rafa, what's funny?

Guys, do you already crap your pants? They finished second in a group with glorious Dortmund and glorious Napoli

Morata as good as raul, well that will remain to be seen, and based on morata ability that we can see today, he have a chance to be as good

As for Del piero being much better than messi, it could have been, del piero performed sublime skills on his 30+ age after he got career ending injury on his prime, del piero was accused for doping while messi literally and openly doped his way to greatness...

Also one thing about messi is that he is too specialized with his skill (dribbilng and left footed finishing) while old footballing greats usually have other aspects on their games

Ya, stupid posts are everywhere. Look at the below for example:

Messi? I'd take tevez any day everyday over him. And I'm dead serious this man is perfect! Never absent, always fighting, front line soldier a man like him gives way more than someone like messi.
The difference is, most of the time on British football forums a post like this might go unopposed. However over here, you already see some reactions towards the above delusion.

@X, what you're saying completely makes sense. However that is obviously not what Fresh is saying, Fresh clearly says he would take Tevez over Messi everyday any day. That kind of delusion sometimes makes me question if freedom of speech should really be a universal right.
