Yes but unlike other deals for players this deal looks like the most likely. Last year of his contract, wants to stay in italy, and we have good relations with the club. Give them some youth and 20m and call it a deal

You can go back a few pages and find everything you need.

In any case, thank you for proving my point.

Hist is right. There's some pretty silly things said about him in relation to all-time greats. And I'm one of Morata's biggest fans. Someone said he's already better than Cavani and Ibra.

And no. Del Piero is not even in the same realm as Messi. Perhaps he could have been minus the injury right after his dominant season, but the injury happened and we'll never know. Messi's career already > Del Piero's career. It's just a fact. He's had perhaps the most dominant 7 season run in all of football history.

Some English tabloids say that Arsenal made first bid on Dybala. Reportedly, 28m. It is hard to believe that there is someone stupid enough to pay this amount for a boy with contract running out in 2016 .

Don't be so sure about that. They wanted ~18mln for that guy in Ukraine eventhough his contract was expiring.

But yeah, not that likely to see that from Palermo, although I wouldn't be surprised if he signs a new contract to milk as much money as possible.

And this is the only way Zamparini can get something over 30m euro for Dybala.

That would surprise me because Dybala and Zampa were reported to have beef. Dybala wants to leave and he won't do Zampa any favour especially if it might result in Dybala having to stay in Palermo longer.

if you were in Marotta's shoes as a Juventus manager and you'd have a chance to sign either a young Del Piero or a young Messi who would you choose?

Are you expecting anyone here to say messi??? Del Piero is our legend and i wouldn't change it for ronaldo and messi combined.

I'm not, because Del Piero possesses some qualities on and off the pitch you can't describe simply with goals scored, trophies won or ballon d'ors received. statistically Messi is probably the best ever, but that doesn't mean one cannot sympathize with Del Piero and consider him better, whatever the term better may mean to him.
