Pogba never was and never will be a CAM.
Pogba has played CAM on 24 occasions for Manchester United and has 5 goals and 5 assists from that position, decent stats but not great.

He has not been taking all FKs and PKs, he has not been playing close to goal and yet still great statistically. You wanna judge by stats, Pogba is still one of the absolute best.
He took lots of penalties in 2018/19, which is the main reason why his stats were so inflated.

Paul Pogba has been a €105m flop. That is the unfortunate reality.

Amazing that you still don't understand why Dybala is being bashed
I do, the reasons are dumb and if you want to continue with the Dybala debate, feel free to do so on his thread.

Dybala had his best season playing with Pogba and yet you don't want him back.
1. 2015/16 was not his best season
2. Pogba today is not the same as five years ago
3. I would not mind Pogba back if it did not come at the expense of Dybala, who has been a demonstrably superior player over the last 5 years.

Nice job cutting out the 'never produced as well part'.

Sure, and Chiellini played LB a bunch of time, Saul sometimes plays LB too, Mendy has played RB for RM at times etc. Let's call them fullbacks too shall we? But interesting that when Dybala played CAM your panties were in a bunch how Allegri misused him.

8/16 goals that season were penalties. 11/16 for Bruno. Another one from FK, bunch of assists from dead balls too.

Ofc he has, I never said he wasn't. But you're the one who brought stats into it and got clapped for it.

Inconsistency, disappearing in big games and being a whiny brat about subs and not playing are nowhere near dumb. Feel free to defend the indefensible tho.

1. Yes it was. Even if you go with 16/17 that goes back to your whining about Allegri playing him at CAM not being good. Whichever you like I'm good.
2. Form is temporary, class is permanent.
3. Who's ignoring context now?

Dybala played at an elite level in 2016/17 despite attacking midfielder not being his best position. Dybala also played at an excellent level in 2017/18 despite numerous games on the right wing. Dybala has been moved around as much as Pogba has in the last five years, and mostly delivered.

That's quite an achievement for someone who "is not a team player"

The highlighted part has literally defined Pogba's 5 year career at Manchester United.

Form is temporary, class is permanent

Try living by that phrase the next time you visit the Dybala thread

I wonder why Pogba has been pushed away from the CAM position to accommodate for Fernandes?

Maybe because Bruno is giving more output from that position than Pogba ever has in the Premier League?

Pogba can only play as an advanced midfielder. He is an absolute liability whenever he has to defend, that was proven yet again today.
.
lol make it less obvious you don’t know anything about Pogba. He barely plays as an AM, not at Man U, not at Juve, and not for France. His best seasons at Juve came as a LCM.

United have tried every system known to man and he has been shit in every single one of them including having two donkeys doing all he's work behind him, you get one good game out of 8 with him stop with these excuses

United are far better team without him and stats back that up. He's one of most overrated players in football.

Ole did in fact originally play Pogba as CAM in front of Matic and Herrera. Pogba did his usual routine where he played well for a short time before disappearing (around the time when he got sent off vs PSG). Then his form dropped again.

Moodier and more inconsistent than Dybala.

Pogba`s contract on Transfrmarket changed to 2022 which means Man Utd had the option and they extended.
This means - Pogba will either come at a cut price or we get him for free a year later.

People memory is so weak nowadays.. Pogba was a beast and suddenly not even not improved but he is useless... Like that quality could drop that much..
It doesnt happen like that - Its like Cannavaro who was a beast for Parma and then he wasnt exactly good playing for Inter and then when he changed teams he suddenly became a monster again..
Quality can drop but not by that absurd margin.
He is also a proven player in Serie A so its not a question about suiting Serie A as well...

Paycheck - Yeah he earns a nice sum but here at Juve he will earn less and I think he understands it.
Also we have that tax rule to benefit from...

Last thing - Aouar is a good player but he will never assist/score as much as Pogba and he wouldnt be as physical and dominant so if you put it as Pogba vs Aouar - Pogba is way better, but they could also play together...

Rabiot is better than him now.
Rabiot has improved a lot and is our best midfielder at the moment but Pogba is like a Rabiot who can create and shoot. Rabiot is surely not at Pogba`s level.

not really suddenly, mate. he played well below his juve standards for the vast majority of the last 4 years. he was good during the world cup, he had a vintage 2-3 months after mourinho was fired, otherwise he showed nothing but that lethargic, slow, lazy shit that i wouldn't pay a cent for, let alone 100m + 20-25m gross in wages. he just doesn't seem committed to that project, and let's not forget he calls that club his home.

unfortunately there's ZERO guarantees pogba would return to his best should he make a return to juve.

He was decent for France at the same time so yeah there is an indication.
In fact there is more guarantee Pogba will make as stronger than lets say Aouar.
One is exactly what we are lacking and the other is just a talented player playing in France. He has no other European experience let alone Serie A.
You can dislike him but it doesnt take the quality away from him.
He can still dribble, create, shoot be great in the air and provide physicality - He also has the stats despite of everything...

World class non DM Pogba

If they are so disappointed from him, they should sell... Anyway We will be getting him in 2 years or on a cut price in 1 year.
